Can he blame us if we sin or don't do things the way he wants us too, esp. with all the different views out there?
It doens't seem right we have to pay for what 2 idiots did in the Garden of Eden 6000 years ago. If he told me flat out taking form the sky not to eat an apple or whatever it is, I wouldn't touch the thing. I'd cordone the area off dig a moat around it.

Daniel: I don't think anyone would fail that I know. If they did it was due to honest stupidity - shouldn't that be forgiven

krazykrit: Maybe you should read the question before you start a rant. There is a question of proof involved too. And it's a big question for most

BTW, you delivery of opinions stinks, I'll bet you don't get a great deal of converts talking like that.

Subject: It doesn't seem fair. Why does God want us to follow his way, but there is no proof everyone can

Message: Having trouble "getting through" onto answers page (also having to sign in multiple times)

I think the answer is that God want us to have a bit of faith. Just faith mainly. I guess.

yea you can say that now it is over with it happen. It is not that we are paying for the mistakes of some idiots from 6000 year ago. We only pay for our own mistakes. As far as there being a lot of different views it is up to each one of us to decide which one is right. The only way you can do that is by reading the Bible and praying that God will show you what it really means not what someone tells you it means. You can have 30 people read the same verse and you will get at least 27 different views. Unless all of you read it together and from the same kind of Bible and you all study it together will you be able to come up with the same views. Not that it is all bad because we can learn a lot of things just from one verse just looking at it a little different. Yes there is a lot of bad views and churches out there today. That is why we need to be in the word reading it putting it into our own lives. Then maybe and only maybe will this world come back around. But it does start with us. Getting back to your statement that you would dig a moat around it. Do you really think it was a surprise to God that they eat from the tree. No it was not it was all part of his plan for Jesus to be able to come to take our sins away.

Because proof would take away the meaningfulness of salvation. If you were being watched 24 hours a day, you wouldn't do anything wrong, but that wouldn't say much, would it? Now if you didn't know if you were being watched or not, and you thought you might be able to get away with it, if you still did the right thing, that would mean something. By choosing to follow God out of faith, you're doing the right thing, even though it can't be proven that you are getting any benefit from it.

Fairness is a human concept. The reason He does not speak to you from Heaven is that it wouldn't really make a difference. It didn't make a difference to Adam and Eve, nor to the Jews for thousands of years.
You are not paying for their sin. You are paying for your own. Faith, or a lack thereof, is why He offers no proof as you describe it. But scripture tells us that the proof is all around you. You are a miracle that even the most skilled doctor cannot remotely explain. How does an antibody recognise a disease? No one has explained it since they were discovered.
He recognises that you will have difficulty in doing and changing, and He said as much when He spoke to Peter. "You have seen me and believe, but much more blessed are those that have never seen me, and still believe."

RO35,
I don't think they had a "cordone" or a "moat." All they had what God had said. And don't think that it came as a surprise to God. He knew before He formed the worlds that it would happen.

Here's the rub. If He did all that, what will it get you to get angry at Him? At the end, He will have those He wanted, and still be God with all the power. In that sense it is not very smart to set yourself against Him. He can kick the Hell out of anyone, or all of us, either way.

What do you mean, "no proof"? Have you ever read the story about the time when God visited us in human form? All the way from the miracle of a virgin birth, to the ascension into the clouds after he had risen from the dead, Jesus himself was a walking talking sign from above of the reality of God, and the story is there for anyone who really wants to know about God. Read the book! If you need proof, God gave the whole world all the proof it needs in the life of Jesus... read and believe!

If that's not enough, then become a scientist and delve into the depths of creation, micro and macro... Nature is God's second book of miracles... and the proof of His wisdom and intelligence, and Him Himself, the "Master Designer" is there for whoever takes an honest appraisal of the grandeur of Nature.

People CHOOSE to follow Satan's way, so it isn't Jehovah's fault what is happening to mankind.
Are you so perfect that you've never sinned? Have you ever drank excessively, smoked, used drugs, viewed pornography, told someone to %#@& off, passed a poor person on the street without offering them a lousy nickel, looked at another human with lust in your heart, or ever stole ANYTHING directly or indirectly?
I'll bet you have among other things and if you did then you have WILLFULLY followed Satan's bidding, so what right do you have to blame God for your troubles?
He even sent his son to pay for OUR sins with his life so that we may have the opportunity to live forever by serving Him. Yes, he gave man FREE WILL and CHOICE and since the majority DEMANDS the right to carry out life in sin and ignore his wonderful provisions then those will darn well get what they deserve.
If you choose to become a bank robber, can you blame your mother or father? NO! Then what right do we have to blame Our Heavenly Father for the choices we make.
I'm sick and tired of that ignorant statement that blames God for our mistakes, while nobody even considers the fact that it is SATAN that causes the rot in today's society.
Try doing some REAL Biblical research before you throw that foolish question out for others to see. That goes for all of you who wonder the same.
Start taking responsibility for your own actions instead of always looking for a scapegoat.

God created this universe and made it a home for the creatures. So that the creatures might pay thanks to God through worship and obedience and in turn they might receive God’s blessings.

Universe is a creation of God and behind it____ is God’s Almightiness. God created the needs___ the needies____ and all the things of needs. God is God____ God is need-free and Absolute Holy.

God is Almighty. God creates whatsoever God wills to create. Each and every creature of God is answerable to God and God is not answerable to anyone.

If the worshippers worship God and obey Gods commandments, it makes no difference to God. But on the other side, it makes a lot of difference to the worshippers if they do not worship God as they become empty-hearted and remain empty-hearted until and unless they resort to God.

If the sinners sin and disobey God, it makes no difference to God but the sinful life brings a lot of difference to the sinners as the sins necessitate the curse of God.

Curse is the God ordained result of sin
While blessing is the God ordained
result of virtue.

God has already judged the sinners and the righteous, in terms of their deeds through revealing the commandments and ordaining the ways to Hell and Heaven.
Key-point to receive the blessings of God___ is to become God’s dependent by all means____ through prayers_____ and patience ____ and trust in God.
God helps and guides aright to those who ask God for God’s help and guidance.
The people who do not believe God and lead a lustful life____ are always mislead to disaster.

Worship means to consider & declare oneself lowly & helpless before a thing or a person and to consider & declare it/him as the omnipotent, the saviour, and the protector.

When a person prefers someone else upon the Lord and considers him as the saviour, the omnipotent, the protector, like that of the Lord, then, he virtually adopts the way of Satan, leaving aside the path shown by the Lord, the Holy One. Such a person, practically, seeks help/protection/prosperity from the creature instead of the Creator and thereby stamps himself, by his own hands, as an enemy of the Lord, the Holy One.

To seek help or refuge from a person, other than the Lord, considering him as the Omnipotent-Protector OR to pray or beseech before him, for expulsion of some grief or loss, and extension of some relief or gain___ is all and all___ nothing else but the worship. That is the consolidated verdict of Torah (the Law of Moses), Bhagavad-Gita, the Book of Psalms, the Gospels, the Quran and all the Scriptures. People of all the Scriptures should, therefore, resort to their Scriptures and the Message of Monotheism, contained therein. They must realize, in letter and spirit, that Omnipotent-Protector and the Creator is none, but One, the Holy One, alone. And___ worship is meant for the Creator alone___ not for the creature, the prophets, the gods, the goddesses, the idols or so on.

All-Alone Lord means that there is no God beside the All-Alone Lord. This fundamental lesson has been, altogether, forgotten while everyone knows that none on the earth or in heavens or between the both___ is greater than the Lord, the One God. Instead, every creature is lowly and helpless before the Lord.

Besides that, everyone knows that whatsoever is created___ is created by the Lord, alone. Who is the Omnipotent-Protector. Even then, the masses do not establish the pure and pious worship of the Lord. Nor they act upon the Commandments of the Lord. They do act__ but__ upon their self-assumed, satanic ways. They are the servants of Satan___ not of the Lord.

At present stage of human history, when the continued work of the Godly-guidance stands, already, perfected in terms of the long series of prophets and their Scriptures. And__ the Day of Judgement is also at hand. The masses must review, all and all of that, which is being maintained by them; in the name of faith and belief.

The ignorant must pay heed to the Scriptures and the Message of Monotheism, contained therein. Still there is some time for the Repentive Recourse to reform and recognize the actual purpose of life including the actualisation thereof.

Jesus (PBUH) had given this message in his prayer on the cross (The Psalm 22)

“Praise the Lord, you servants of the Lord
Honour the Lord,
You descendants of Jacob
Worship the Lord, you people of Israel.”
(The Psalm 22:23)

It means that praise is meant for the Lord alone. And___ to honour the Lord means to obey the Lord in terms of the Lord’s Commandments and to worship the Lord means to seek help and refuge from the Lord as the Lord is the Omnipotent-Protector alone. And___ that is the sole purpose of human life.

Just talk with Him. one on one. He loves YOU. Remember Jesus is on your side. If people around you are trying to make you feel guilty for every little thing you do or don't, that's not Jesus. this link shows what he told the scribes and pharisees that were actually oppressing the people instead of guiding.
No human has all the answers. But as sure as i sit here typing, i just know, Love is the biggest message of Jesus.

The answer is faith. Everyone's saying it, no one just believing it or trying it on for size. Therefore half of yahoo answers don't believe in God because they don't have faith, don't want faith, or anything to do with faith. But the question is, do you want it, so that you can eventually discover for yourself wether or not God is real or not. Asking us isn't going to solve anything. If you really want to find God, you will. You just don't want to. Or do you?
