I'm really confused. I have met a boy and we made friends, we study and also participate in extra things together... well, with time we have been very close, I started to like him, in the beggining i thought i wouldnt have a chance with him but suddenly and I started to notice some attitudes from him that make me think he likes me (I catch him looking at me, sometimes looking for me, lots of eye contact, he seats besides me whenever he can) and also he invited me to share his activities (and joined mine).. but I dont know why, when one day we are very close, the next one he is completely cold. Sometimes we have spend a nice time together but when in the night i find him in the msn, he doesn't chat with me.. or we spend hours speaking personally but when there is people around he goes and doesn't say goodbye at all. Maybe he is trying to seem "hard to catch", because I dont show so much interest in him (as lot of girls do with him cause he is cute). Or maybe.. he's just playing with me.

He likes you and he's just shy and afraid of rejection. He's got no clue as to whether you like him or not and so this is making him to built a defense mechanism everytime he sees that he's about to make it obvious that he likes you. Give him some kind of clue that you also like him, maybe that will help. And he's not playing he reeeeeaaaaaaalllllllllllyyyyyyyyyy likes you.

Awww, sooo cute. Dont worry babes, he's a guy. Some guys have problems expressing there emotions, like myself, we're not as flexible as girls are. He prolly might like you more than you kno it, thats why its so hard for him to be "normal" when he's with you. You said u known him for awhile now so i would expect him to get pass that stage by now but ppl are different,they progress dfferently. But its bc he likes you so much he acts a fool when around you, hypothethically speaking, but dont trip, put urself out on a limb by being really open with him about how u feel so he could kno how to open up himself too but dont do it when a bunch of ur friends are around, do it more like on a one on one basis. If you like him as much as you say you do then invest in him, show him how to be open. the relationship between you and him will flourish and develop greatly. Nowadays you wont find guys how you want them to be you gotta mold them yourself.

I would approach him. Boys like to play hard to get just like girls do. It's a game we play. Eh,not the greatest,but it's true. Invite him to lunch,something casual,not so "date" like. If he accepts,talk to him,don't be too up front, but if things go well on ur lunch date, then he might ask u on an actual date...I dno. Do,what you feel is best :)

it will be hard to tell at first, but if he keeps choosing his friends over you, im sorry to say but he might not like being around you when his friends are there because some of them might not like you, or he is getting threatened because he is near you.
sometimes if you are a little bit too open in public with him like my ex was, he might get embarrassed.
maybe is afraid of commitment? or maybe he wants to have you longing on for more of him.
with him not chatting with you, at nite on msn, he could be doing the naughty with himself. and sometimes its hard to do that and chat lol.

hmmmm sometimes men don't know how to respond when they start feeling something for a girl... but I can tell you this... is going to be hard for the reason that you both are friends..and probably he dose not want ot F**k it up...
