You only get slammed by people who disagree with you and there are ALWAYS people who are going to disagree with you, so everyone here gets slammed.

It is probably the idea of the Christians (same with most patriarchal religions) that all non-Christians are sinners and will spend eternity in hell... but God loves us all.Or the idea about male God, his Son and the spirit.... where is the female part....?

You condemn idols, at the same time any Church is full of idols... It is a very hypocritical way. You may, the others not. And still God loves us all.

There is no logic, even in simple things... and no love, but ruling power. Religion is man made, not divine, there for it is always in need of some changes, innovations. Splitting into different groups... then they become opponents. It's great man made nonsense. Show me anything, God-made, that is not perfect, that is to change or needs innovation...

Maybe it is the fact that the three most popular religions were once one. But each one of them condemns the others.
Or the fact that THE ONE religion was born in slavery. And is based on slave mentality. Lord is everything, i am nothing. He punishes me, he sends me to hell...he gives and he takes... and i should be thankful for it, because he is Lord the Almighty, and HE loves us all.
Or is it because of the symbols, and rituals, even wise stories of those religions... which you can find in other, much ancient cultures, religions, beieves and even superstitions. All those, Christianity, Islam and Judaism condemn.... beside eachother.
Maybe it is because THEY condemn? With love !?
Hope it answers your question.
Never mind... we all have our opinions, and wisdoms... there is no right or wrong. Just know what is good for you. And keep it for yourself . And i do not give a damn *** about spelling dear... as you see.

because most of those who slam others beliefs are just doing so for one of the following reasons:

1. they have insecurities with their own beliefs and by slamming others beliefs they think they are some how attempting to believe in something.

2. They are very insecure and are craving ANY attention they can by thinking they are cool because everybody else is doing it, so if they do it they'll impress someone and that person will think they are cool. These are the same people who follow a trend becasue everyone else does. Basically they lack their own identity.

3. they are mis-informed and too lazy to research what Christianity as all about.

4. they were wronged by someone claiming to be a Christian, and decide that all Christians act this way.

Of course this is only my opinion, I honestly do not know why someone would bash someone for their beliefs, yet if you bashed their beliefs they would freak out.

Oh, well.

This is your third question asking why people here are so nasty... there's a very simple remedy... it's called the power button.

Read the questions... put in your opinion, but don't forget to wear your body armour... because everyone has an opinion about everything and that's the whole idea of this part of the internet. If you want logical or knowledgable or learnable... try different sections like science or zoology.

Obviously the religion section is going to get heated, it's the nature of the topic.

Yes, true, people seem to slam people for any old reason, religion especially. As long as you find what you need in a religion, and are good to other people, it shouldn't matter what you beleive in. None of this works if people try to convince others that their beliefs are incorrect. If it works for me, then be it, and the same goes for you. It truly is a personal thing, after all.
Personally, I am tired of being slammed for not believing in any one organized religion.
Side note: (and I so don't intend to be critical here, merely helpful) If you desire to make a point in a statement, do use spell check, as it helps make things clearer...so people focus on what you want to get across instead of the typos/errors). :)

There is no glory nor righteousness in stating your religion. When you do that you are using it as a lever to get attention and give you the feeling that you are special.

That is hypocritical. To try to convince anyone that your way is the only way is doubly hypocritical.

Those are the words of Jesus. To deny them is to Deny Jesus and you end up being a nothing, according to your own beliefs. When you tell some one to look to god, you are attempting to act as an agent of God and that makes you a triple Hypocrite.

Wise up and enjoy your Religion, but don't try to play God with other peoples lives.

Why don't we take a look at the mean-spirited response the asker gives to a perfectly reasonable and respectful answer to her question about liberals:

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Aklc2i3QHnqT9sbvxN64kC_sy6IX?qid=20060802062208AA9xbsm

Bizarrely she chose it as Best Answer, presumably so she could slam the answerer and accuse her/him of saying things that s/he never said ("Abortion as a form of contraception" etc). This asker is looking for trouble, it is hardly surprising to see her get criticism back. It is usually the bully who bleats loudest about how people are picking on her, and here is a case in point.

If admitting that I am a Christian is going to get me slamed, then slam away because I am.

Because usually the next word out of your mouth is something telling us how to live our lives. And the fact that the christians I've known are hypocrites.

It's one thing to misspell and another thing to be careless. If you're making something for all the world to stare at, look it up.
