There really isn't any safe side to losing pounds. If you have a lot of water weight, you can lose a lot. I've lost 12 lbs in a week before, granted 8 of those were water and I gained a few back the next week I still lost it. It really all depends on your body. A skinnier person losing 7 lbs would be a hell of a lot harder for a thicker person loses it.

I think the max is 4 pounds. If you want to be safe and make it last I would say 2 pounds per week. I recently weighed about 208lbs. Im about 5'7" and recently discovered inner strength and refocused my workouts and nutrition. Im definitely not the norm but I started going to the gym twice a day during the week and running on the weekends and really focused on my diet and lost about 2 pounds a week until where I am right now, which is about 186. I will eventually get to about 179 which is my ideal weight. Everyone that has seen me say I look fantastic. If you need evidence you can send me an email to danny_austin4@yahoo.com and I can send you pics. Maybe I can inspire you or anyone else that reads this answer. good luck...

a sturdy aim isn't any better than a million pound a week. the significant in this time is to get the fundamental supplementations and minerals, yet shrink the common caloric intake. I even have discovered that heavily increasing my uncooked vegetable intake facilitates in this appreciate (carrots, celery, cucumbers, lettuce). most of the cellulose is going undigested (yet nevertheless fills you up) and the physique nevertheless is able to pull the supplementations and minerals. the different undertaking you're able to do is consume greater (5-6 cases an afternoon) smaller nutrition (notably much snacks) rather than 2-3 great nutrition.

I would maybe shoot for 5 the first week and 3-4 every week after that. But its hard to lose that quickly. I can be done tho...1-2 is best but 3-4 wont kill you either

Losing anymore than 1 or 2 pounds a week means you are losing muscle, not fat.
