pickles are tasty, that is a known fact. healthwise, they have the nutrition from the cucumber that it was made from, the vinegar in the pickle is always good for health (vinegar is a body cleansing agent, especially raw apple cider vinegar). most of the spices used in pickling have other supposed health benefits, most not yet recognised by the FDA.

help you digest? maybe, but i would suggest a little papaya or papaya enzyme if you have problems with meat digestion.

anyway, pickles are healthy and won't hurt you to eat them all you want.

Pickles contain about 5 calories each. You burn more calories digesting a pickle than a pickle contains. It doesn't aid in food digestion--quite the contrary, they are difficult to digest.

Pickle juice is a quick cure for hiccups. I heard this and said 'No Way!', but then I had hiccups for about two hours one night and tried it out of desperation. Just a sip stopped the hiccups instantly! It's weird, but it works. As far as eating them at the restaurant, I do.
