why does it matter what it means? I mean, if you like it, like to say it and think your baby girl will fit that name you chose for her, then what does it matter if it means, "wind" or "dawn" or "dog jumping over a fence". I have a friend named after a Swahelii word for giraffe-everyone buys her giraffe stuff, but she doesn't care that much for them....I also know a girl named Paloma, which is Dove in Spanish-but she's dark brown. Maybe Isa and Mara are two words put together to mean something? Maybe they dont mean anything...if you like it, use it. I think its pretty, but im not too sure how to pronounce it.

Yes - It is a Português female name. The meaning is not available, but I could get by this name teaching at Angaturama School, Sao Poulo, Brazil and she is a Portuguese settled there.
I have also found a name "Isamara Amancio" in the community (Group) called "we love the Isamara" (www.orkut.com/community..).
So if you like you can name your baby as "ISAMARA"
Best of luck
