Limewire isn't illegal but sharing copyrighted files is.
You can share your pictures (pictures that you took) on limewire as well as anything else that YOU created without being prosecuted. But when you share something copyrighted such as music by Mariah Carey for example, you can be sued by the RIAA. (Recording Industry Association of America)

Its legal for us to download limewire. Its the "File Sharing" that were NOT suppose to do but so many do. Which is music by other music artist that people download then share with others cause its copyright protected. So thats whats illegal.

No, but I'd recommend you use Shareaza instead of Limewire, it too is legal...and remember, don't downlaod illegal files ;)

No. People just decide to use it for illegal purposes, BUT IT IS NOT ILLEGAL.

no,but in reality all free music downloads are illegal .they can'tstop them so they mess with the music.sometimes they end a song too early or you burn a cd and it comes out all scratchy without any music
