It all has to do with how happy you are with the service. Most people will tell you that 15-20 % is the norm. Personally, if I'm happy with service in a restaurant, I'll tip 25-30%. I don't know if I'd ever completely stiff a waitress, unless the service was just horrible, but I've never had that happen.

yes i do tip them. for example if a haircut is lets say 60$, 15% would be around 10 dollars. I would tip them 15-20 if I really like the work they do. yes they are getting paid well to do what they do, but everyone appreciates tips.

I usually tip 30-40%. I'm not sure if that's generous b/c I've been taught to tip 20%.
Oh... um I meant a % of the item or service total cost.

I tip about 20% for both hair and nails. I'll go 25% if I get a radical change to my hair, or if I get something special done for my nails, like art or a piercing or something.

Yes you should tip, and it should be 15-20% as usual... This is considered appropriate

15-20% is customary. Depends on how much you enjoyed your service

I dont think you should tip at those places. I have no idea never done those things cause I like to be all natural not fake. Like you for you. Dont change yourself to try to be perfect or to look good. You probably do look hot right now. Be happy with yourself.

I would base it on how great the service was. These people aren't getting paid 2.13/hr like waitresses.
