It looks like the pictures they show butit just doesn't look eaten up like the pictures, it's just a huge red very intense soreness to my leg. It is very feverish around the outer part of the red circle the inner part is swollen, like a huge bump red with a feverish circle surrounding it, it reall does hurt. Well not that bad, very discomforting to the normal average everyday good leg. The pressure on my leg when standing for long periods tends to make me have worst pain. WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY LEG HELP I DON'T WANT IT TO LOOK LIKE THE SPIDER BITE I LOOKED AT EARLY ON THE WEB...........HELP.........WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME?

It could be a tic bite. Does it look like this?

http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/imagepages/19617.htm

This is the general discription:

It could be a hive if it looks like this:

If so, you have to have it treated by a doctor right away - tomorrow at the latest.

Dry and/or greasy skin due to poor oil composition of the skin. Thick greasy oils clog pores, lack of oil leads to dryness and irritation. You need thin oils to moisturize while dissolving and clearing gunk in your poors. Try fish oil or seafood. 2 tsp fish oil a day or 4 servings of seafood a week. Stick it out for at least 2 months; it will take a long time to replace all your oil. Any effect after 1-2 days is temporary or random; so even if it makes you break out a little at first, you haven't given it a full try yet.

In the short term you can wash and moisturize well, but that will only go so far. Plus excessive washing can be drying and excessive moisturizing can be clogging. Use a small amount of a light moisturizer, made with oil not jelly or grease. Often that means soybean oil or mineral oil. Mineral oil means mined from the ground. So soybean oil is usually better, though mineral oil won't cause too much harm. Clean with soap and water, not a harsh acne cleanser. Even then they only work so well. So you really need the seafood.

Antibiotics aren't really good for bacteria long term, they'll come back in force after. Short term they may help. After you get off them find some kefir with acidophilus listed first or 2nd to replace the friendly bacteria they destroyed. Studies show less illness when you have these bacteria, even outside the stomach in places such as the lungs and elsewhere. You want friendly bacteria to fill the void when the antibiotics stop, not harmful ones.

In the short term you might also try 100,000+ iu retinol vitamin A (a megadose, and too much for normal use) or one of the acne drugs that is similar to retinol vitamin A. It's some minor harm to your organs, but it helps against bacteria on your skin. At least it doesn't have the other long term drawbacks to your skin that antibiotics and many scrubs do.

If you would like to learn how to treat your acne permanently and regain your health and wellbeing, without drugs, without typical acne treatments, and without any side effects, then this will be the most important letter you will ever read.

Maybe it is some sort of insect bite if you`ve been in that sort of area, from the info you`ve written it sounds like a boil, they start off as a bump like a pimple but get more pain around the outside of the bump and the bump becomes bigger with pus!!!yuk and when you press the red circle around the bump,it feels hard thats when its getting infected at this stage you need to get the pus and the core out of the wound this is ver y painful so i suggest you get a drawing cream at the chemist this draws all the gunk out of the wound and it will heal no worries, but boils spread to other parts of your body easy so try not to touch anywhere else after touching the sore ok i hope this helps put savlon or other antiseptic cream on it see how you go ok good luck:)

There's a very good chance that it is a cyst. It's a hair folicle that produces natural oils and becomes infected if the hair cannot push through the pore.
You will have to go to the Doctor for some anti-biotics to get the swelling down. Please don't let it go because the infection will spread.

Calm down and go to the nearest emergency room. If you cannot get there and there is not one to take you then call for an ambulance. I would not wait any longer it sounds like you were bitten by something and could be having a bad reaction to the bite. What ever it is it is not good and you should not wait for it to get any worse. Go Now Please

It sounds like a Brown Recluse Spider bite. I had one and had to go to a doctor and have the venom extracted with a syringe needle. It saved me from losing the skin around it. GO see your doctor....you don't want it to get any worse.

I had that for years, it popped up in the summer when I sweated. Ended up that I was allergic to the laundry detergent Tide plus the deoderant soap Irish Spring. Changed to Wisk and Ivory Soap to wash and all is fine. Could just be pickly heat also, like a baby gets.

I'd say you have an infection, no matter what bit you & you need to see a doctor & get treated with anti-biotics. For now, put hot compresses on it & elevate your leg so it can heal better. Go TO THE DOCTOR!

if they last a week and go away for a while and then come back again it is probably herpes virus, they usually occur in the same place for about a week to 10 days and you do not necessarily have to be sexually active to have it. if you do an image search of herpes on the buttocks you will find what it looks like.
