I mean what is the purpose of him being there. How does he 'do the pope thing'? . Does he have a job? Does he drve a forklift during he week? Does he spend 5 days a week counting all the cashola? What the hell does he do?

I know he represent the catholic church, he prays etc
I want to know what he does in terms of actions, generally speaking but no too general. I hope I explained it.

what the hell, im jewish and im the only one who knows this answer. the pope is the link between man and g-d. it is said that the pope can speak directly to g-d. he also has the final say on all catholic beliefs and policies. i think now he is mostly a figure head though.
