You left off a risk from your list. And a pretty important one at that. It's called death. Starving yourself causes every organ system in your body to shut down. Your body runs out of fat and starts eating its own muscles. It starts with skeletal muscles, but as thoughs run out, your body will start to literally eat other muscles, your heart being one of them. Eventually your heart will give out and you'll die. No one's going to think you look sexy as a corpse.

Anytime you feel pain, it's your body trying to tell you that's somethings wrong. You can however trick your body so that it doesn't know that your feeding it less. When you stop eating all together or start skipping meals your body goes into starvation mode. What happens next is it will start breaking down your muscle. Why? because the more muscle you have the more calories your body needs. So, your body takes away the muscle so you can stay alive longer. That's where all the stuff you've heard before comes in. Eventually you'll become malnutrioned. So, if you really want to loose weight, feel good, and look great you need to to eat and eat often; like every 2 hours. The trick is controling what you are eating. Lay off all the potato chips, breads and sweets. This includes fruit. Now I don't know how much weight you want to loose but you can drop 10 pounds easy in the first week. Make sure you drink lots of water. If you're not normally a water drinker, go get yourself some Crystal light sugar free mix. The best one is the lemonade flavor. Add that to your water, it'll help you consume more water. The water not only hydrates you but also helps flush out the toxins. Next, increase your protein intake. Baked, Grilled, or broiled fish, chicken and eat more eggs too. You can allow yourself as much green veggies as you want. When I say green, I mean green. Not green beans, but green veggies like spinach, broccoli, and green leaf lettuce. Stay away from Carrots and potatos for they are high in sugar content and will raise your insulin. (this will cause food cravings.) OH and take daily multivitamins. Good luck to you. Sure there is. It's like the difference between eating a slice of pizza, and eating the whole thing. Or drinking 1 glass of wine compared to the whole bottle. One is okay, the other is really extreme and self destructive. Dieting means eliminating certain foods from your diet or cutting down on calories. Starving yourself means you're deliberately eating less than your body needs. Let's say your BMR is 1400 calories a day and you're moderately active. This means you need to take in 2170 calories a day to maintain your weight as it is. If you were to diet, you'd cut this amount by maybe 500 calories and eat 1670 calories a day. This is still more than your BMR and your body is comfortable with this. However if you were to go insane and eat only 1000 calories a day, then you'd wind up starving yourself because your body needs more calories than this to survive.

Hunger is a funny thing. Say one day you only eat a few things to put hunger at bay and then go to sleep. The next day you wont be as hungry because your stomach is adapting to less food. The same goes for eating large quantaties of food. If you eat all day and then eat until your completely full before you go to bed, then your going to probably wake up very hungry, or at least get hungry much earlier in the morning.
You dont need to starve yourself. Just eat until your hunger is subdued and dont eat again until your hungry again.

sorry to disapoint you but starving yourself will not achieve the goal of making yourself lok like one of those girls that all the guys drool ova. You need to take a more sustainable and common sense way to lose weight. Starving will only provoke you to binge when you become too hungry.
Nutrition is a science weight loss is simply less calories in than what your burning. To lose weight, you need to exercise more and restrict calories

Hmm... When i did that in 9th grade... I would like the hunger pains because it meant that i wasnt putting any food into my stomach and that meant there was nothing to gain weight from. I drank a lot of water. That helped. And also... i chewed some gum as well. Cuz that stomach acid will start coming up your throat and making your breath stink. So yeah. Drink water. Chew gum.

i have been on the starve yourself diet before. to stop the hunger pains you have to drink heaps of water and i mean heaps. when i was on the starve urself diet i lost a total of 35kg. i got so skinny i thought i had died and gone to heaven. the results of the starve yourself diet are so great that you forget about what everyone said to you when they found out what you were doing because you are too busy looking hot. i say don't worry bout what every one else thinks. do what you want to do.

I've done this diet! It lasted about 10 minutes then I pigged out. Seriously, if you really have weight to lose, you can still eat alot of food and lose weight. Pick the right things, lots of vegtables and fruit, high fibre cereals and breads, low fat milk products, lots of water, lean meat, chicken, fish.

first of all . . .you should seek professional help, obviously you aren't thinking to clearly. Probably cause your hungry, and those hunger pains are messing with your head.Secondly, this site was made to HELP people not Help people destroy their life's and body's. Seriously Hun, I'm not trying to be a smart *** or anything but you need to talk to someone about this. Get help before this gets out of control.

There is a lady who did the reverse diet instead...and lost 172lbs...how it works...east DINNER for breakfast....cuz it's the heaviest meal...and lunch light...and breakfast for dinner....I've been doing it for 2 weeks and have lost like 10lbs! it's awesome...try that first...then starve yerself....=) And not to contribute...but laxatives help ya lose weight real fast...as does any diet supplement with Ephedra...none of these (cept first) are healthy options but they work.
