once removed from freezer, especially raw meat products, it needs to be cooked. after it has been cooked, it can be refrozen once more. don't pull from freezer and refreeze again.
if prepackaged food, like chicken strips, etc., don't refreeze, cook and eat or throw out if you can't eat it all.

NEVER...once defrosted cook and eat....if it was left out of the freezer area too long, trhrow it out.....better safe than sorry..that bacteria starts to grow fast as the temp goes up!

You can only pass a food through the danger zone (41-140 degrees) two times. Any more than that can produce too much harmful bacteria. Bacteria does not disappear when you freeze it, it just slows down the the reproduction of it.

ONE TIME ONLY for meat!!!! When you defrost meat food bactria starts to grow again infecting the food unless you cook it.

once..never refreeze anything, well unless you cook it! LIke if you cook it and want to save it you can freeeze it but if you dont cook it dont refreeze it, it goes bad dont eat it!

PROBABLY ONLY ONCE TO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE....UNLESS YOU COOK IT AND THEN REFREEZE......LEARNED IT OVER THE POWER OUTAGE...NOTHING WAS REALLY USABLE WHEN I TOOK IT OUT THE 2ND TIME.
