My babies father was found, in the bathroom, stiff, with black vomit on his lips and hair, and the impression of a toilet seat on his chest. Also his pants were down. He was hospitalized over night on Thurs. because he stopped breathing from methadone, released and found dead 4 days later.

Another death to the disease of Addiction. My sincere condolences.
The question I would be asking is how did he get enough Methadone to overdose. Methadone is only available through medical clinics and the patient has to take the dose supervised by a nurse or pharmacist.
My son was down to 8mg and because it was such an unusually low dose he was given 80mg in error. He was very sick but luckily survived. Needless to say the pharmacy did not admit liability

I believe as soon as a person dies rigamortis starts and gets more intense as the body goes unrecognized. So sorry for your loss.

rigamortis is when all of the joints lock up. I dont know if human experience rigamortis when they pass away. I know certain animals do.

Am not sure I understand the question, but rigor mortis sets in about the same time as any other death, death is death...am sorry about your loss, having to deal with your kids & everything.
