Well it depends can you cook a steak? If you can all you'll need is two center cut sirloins,
4-5 kiwis (peeled)
1tsp vinegar
2tbs soy sauce
1tsp of ground ginger
half a can of sprite

In a food processer puree the kiwi's then add rest of ingredients
and mix on low.
take the meat and score it length wise and place in a plastic Ziploc bag pour in kiwi mix and let it sit in fridge for 30-45 Min's in fridge. then you can grill them or broil them.
As for a side dish you can buy a box of dirty rice or just a rice pilaf.
for a salad try a tossed green salad with chunks of pineapple and candied walnuts, with a raspberry vinaigrette.
Wine you could use a nice blush Zinfandel I find most women enjoy a sweeter wine with there steaks, but if she is a Wine drinker I would go with a nice Merlot. Hope it helps good luck.

Fold the other 1/2 over and pinch edges( like a pie) sprinkle with season salt, garlic , salt and pepper, sprinkle more grated cheese on top!!! bake at 350* for 30-35 minutes( this is so good and easy)

stuffed baked potato -bake until done, make a slice in top scoop out insides into a med bowl add butter, sour cream, grated cheese and put back in potato. on top more cheese and crispy bacon. Put in broiler until cheese bubbles.

Asparagus is a good side veggie with pop and fresh(Pillsbury) cress ant rolls!

This is a loaded question.... Can you cook? What types of food do you and she like? Is there some type of food she prefers? Are you wanting a 3 course meal? Do you want to cook indoors or out on the grill? Can you spare some more details so that others might be able to help with some ideas.

I'd probably make a chicken and noodle dish. (I like noodles and cabbage with butter myself) Might marinade the chicken in something (italian dressing.. to suggest something) and then cook it in a skillet.. with a nice salad, and something for dessert. Me myself... cheesecake...but, that is also a preference I have. But, a few more details might help with more suggestions...

Buy a fillet of beef. Season and put in the oven for half an hour. Serve with carrots, roast capsicum, potatoes, and pepper sauce. Too easy, unless she's a vegie. In that case I'd call for Indian take away in advance and reheat. Don't forget the naan breads.

Do you know when chicken is done? no pink, not rubbery.

CHICKEN MARSALA - In first frying pan, Cut boneless chicken into chunks or strips, coat with flour and cook in butter until all sides just start to brown, set aside. In second frying pan, melt butter and add fresh sliced mushrooms (lots) and cook until they just start to soften, add generous amount of Marsala wine and a couple of finely diced garlic cloves and cook for three minutes. Add chicken from first pan and cook until sauce thickens (flour from chicken will thicken sauce), Add a small spritz more Marsala wine ( to refresh Marsala wine flavor) and serve immediately.
