The "Born Again" concept introduced by Lord Jesus according to the Holy Bible was already present in ancient culture before the time of Jesus. It was a big thing for that place and time with so little if any - global communications.
According to Bhakti Yoga tradition one takes diksa from the Guru, the Spiritual Master. This Diksa is like being born again. It is second birth, so to speak. The Spiritual Master then does everything he possibly can to help you achieve spiritual perfection. The Spiritual Master may even have to suffer for "your" sins.

The term born again is not speaking of a physical rebirth. It means a spiritual rebirth taking place once a person has accepted Christ as his Lord and Saviour. Once this happens a person should no longer be driven by his own needs and/or desires but be motivated to live a Christ like lifestyle. For example the wide spread question,"What would Jesus do"or WWJD? Christians believe that Jesus gave us an example of how to live a life that pleases God in order to gain acceptance into heaven.Jesus said,"The way to the Father is through the son. I know that you know that because I read ALL of your question! haha-lol(I bet you thought you got me!)

this is a non secular affiliation that Jesus informed Nicodemus approximately in John 3:a million. 5-7. Revelation tells us that people who're 'born lower back, are referred to as the 1st culmination adn those have had the invitation given to them with the help of Jehovah God himself to be pals with Jesus Christ. action is needed with the help of the guy who gained that invitation is important. REvelation 17:14 they must carry forth the good information approximately God's Kingdom to all they meet. Peter 2:9 those born lower back Christians understand they have this invitation because of the fact they have been anointed with the help of Holy Spirit. Isaiah sixty one:a million, 2; Luke 4:sixteen-21; 2 Corinthians a million:21 This Holy Spirit bears witness with there personage that they are God's toddlers with the help of instilling in those Christians the heavenly wish. Romans 8:sixteen: a million Peter a million:3, 4 however the ought to proceed to be dedicated to that calling till their dying to acquire the advantages of eternal existence.

If you have accepted Jesus Christ as our SAVIOR you will live forever not in this life but in the world to come. When you are born again you have the promise of eternal life. Jesus told Nicodemius "YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN" John3:3 -10 or you can view Sheperd's Chapel.

Jesus said "unless a man be born again, he will not enter the kingdom of heaven". Born again means, born of the spirit. When you confess your sins before God, repent of them, and accept Jesus Christ as your savior (and this is a true conversion of the heart, not just words)....that is being born again. You are a "new creation" in Christ. The old man is gone and the new man has now been made alive in Christ. The spirit of God indwells a born again believer, and God begins His work inside this person, which is continued the rest of their life.

The greek word is "anoden" and it means "born from above" (Jn. 3:3) , that´s why Jesus said that "no one can enter the kingdom of God without being born of water and Spirit" (Jn. 3:5) This means you become member of the family of God (a son of God) at baptism, which confers you grace ( see 1 Pet 3:21 - "...This (he is talking about the flood) prefigured baptism, which now saves you).
God bless

TheHappyGuy,
Well, let's see how far you can read. Might as well see what we all see, yes?
John 3
1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?
10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?
11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.
12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
