Yes, it is true. Dogs are descended from wolves and they are social pack animals that live in a Dominance hierarchy, if you have a well-trained obedient dog then you are the master or alpha, if you have a dog that never listens to you and is aggressive about his spot on the couch or his toys etc... then you arent the master you are the omega, lowest on the totem pole. SO some dogs have masters, others have servants...LOL

Cats are solitary animals that live alone in the wild, and do not have a dominance hierarchy like dogs. So really cats have staff not masters since they do not respond to authority and dominance like dogs do... thats why when a cat fawns on you, you should feel priviledged because they dont often form this type of relationship in the wild (being solitary) with dogs, when they fawn on you its only normal because thats how they behave socially when they are of a lower rank than you... Its actually more like cats treat you equally as they would another cat and dogs either treat you like a master or a servant depending on your status in the social hierarchy.

While dogs arepack animals and need an alpha leader, cats are independent and arelone hunters. You will never see a pack of cats roaming around.

This is so true. Cats do expect us to wait on them like staff or servants. We love them so we willingly do so. If you can't get used to doing this, then, well, cats aren't for you. I guess that's why cat people tend to be more nuturing.

With my animals...yes that is true. Our two cats are awful..bossy, they meow over everything, including if their pillows aren't in the right place for them to sleep. The dogs do what they are told when they are told to do it. The dogs are happy to please us, and love attention. The cats just walk around mad all the time.

I don't think so. Dogs are a lot more trouble, but a lot more fun.
