You may be able to get insurance, but it will probably not cover anything related to the surgery/condition for a period of time.

I think that the company we're with, Pets Best, does cover a certain amount of pre-existing conditions. I'm not sure how much, though. Their number is on their website http://www.petsbest.com/. It can't hurt to give them a call and see what they might be able to do for you. Good luck!

p.s. Even if you only purchase accident insurance for $6/month, at least she would be covered in case she swallows something, is hit by a car (God forbid), etc.

I am very sorry to hear of a pet getting that disc disorder.. It is so painful and I am happy that you helped your pet to get better. As far as insurance.. doubt it very much

probably, but as with people insurance, they probably will not cover a pre-existing condition.
