I've been going out with my bf for about a month it is a long distance relationship and we met over the internet.

My guy says he loves me and wants to be with me but there is a problem....

Before he met me he met this other woman who said she just wanted to be friends with him she wasn't ready for a relationship. Now that he's got together with me though I think she has changed her mind and she calls and texts him constantly.

He says he would never cheat on me or hurt me but I know that a few time that he has said the texts he has recieved have been from a male friend they have been from her (all his contacts in phone have pics so seen hers pop up).

Don't know what to do the one time i brought up the fact that she might want more than just friendship he got very defensive and accused me of not trusting him

Oh Lordy, what has the world come to that we have to "meet" people over the Internet.

How crazy is that. What's wrong with the old fashioned date, having met someone in person. Are we all getting tied to computer chairs and not going out anymore?
I wouldn't trust anybody I "met" this way, Move on with your life and forget him

This one is hard, as I am currently in a similar situation.
The bottom line is, if a guy is going to cheat there going to do it anyway. You cannot stop it from happening. And why would you want to be with someone like that anyway. He has lied to you about who he is receiving the text msg's from, which makes me think somethings up. I think perhaps you need to reconsider about this relationship. If he is not going to be open and honest with you, he's not worth your time. If this is making you uncomfortable, maybe he needs to set this other woman straight before you can move forward with your relationship.

well my answer to this would be if he trusted you well personallly if i trusted you i'd give you the phone in your hand the mailbox number passcode and everything you need to verify what's going on cause if i'm really interested in you i want to be able to prove how much i'm devoted to you even within 1 month of our actual relationship but since he's not doing that and getting defensive of her i think he might be dipping 2 sauces so to speak seeing which one he likes better and that's not cool at all he should know and understand what true commitment is and how it wqorks in a relationship i reccomend you confronting him about trust and how it must be part of your relationship for you to believe how much he says he truly loves you!.. but hey i just met my wife on myspace and i know God picked her out special.. so i have no doubts about here i even gave her my myspace account info so she can check it whenever she wants and another thing when in a relationship accusations shouldn't be present just inquiries and answers i mean your not opposing attorneys in a courtroom your in a relationship.. right? well i hoe this helps and tell me how things work out

Its not a relationship when its over the internet and a long distance one. You don't even know the guy, how can he tell you he loves you? He is a jerk and you should be extremely careful and wary, you don't know what he does.Girl drop this guy.
Getting defensive is already showing you that you're right about the other woman.

I don't think your relationship is very strong anyway to be honest b/c u two haven't even ever seen each other. Neither of you can be sure there will even be an attraction. I think he's just playing you both. If he's already lying to you I would get out fast!!!! It will only get worse

Thats rather tricky, especially having met over the internet, if he is being dishonest with you, that is a warning sign this early on, if he had nothing to hide he wouldnt lie, right?

If he's like this 1 month into the relationship then i suggest that you end it while you can theres obviously going to be trust issues

I wouldn't worry about thier relationship since it is long distance, but you need to be strong and tell him to abstain from further contact with the online g/f.

girl if he got defensive when you brought the subject up then you know something is going on because someone ain't gonna get mad for something stupid like that and if you seen messages pop up on his phone from your know they are still in touch and they probably still metting and **** ... Girl wake up and realize whats going on...
