Anyone able to recommend a good place to have breakfast in downtown Chicago, Navy Pier area?

Billy Goat Tavern at Navy Pier
Serves breakfast from 8 to 11 very reasonable, steak and eggs are the best.

Guess it depends on what kind of breakfast you want, something light or something substantial.

Then there's always Lou Mitchell's. It's not exactly close to downtown and navy Pier, but it's a Chicago institution. whenever a presidential candidate comes to town, they always stop there for breakfast and to press the flesh: http://metromix.chicagotribune.com/dining/28102,0,7639170.venue
There are also the chain places line Corner Bakers, Cafe Baci, etc. that serve breakfast sandwiches and stuff. You can find those anywhere. In addition, most of the hotels in and along Michigan ave. have dining rooms that serve breakfast. You can always stop in one of those.

My favorite breakfast place downtown is Lou Mitchells which is on Jackson. Great skillet breakfasts.
However the Swissotel is nearby Navy Pier and they have great pastries.

by union station is lou mitchells. not navy pier but soo soo good.
