No. But combat Veterans do often pay a heavy price. We thank the many Veterans that Suffered Post Traumatic Stress Disorder after they served in Vietnam. Enough of them where not satisfied and insisted to discover why they felt so bad about a War that most of them were forced into by circumstances.
I have an Uncle who is 83 now and he still has nightmares from the experiences his suffered during WWII. Last time he was here, I had to go in and wake him up to stop him from thrashing around and crying out. When he woke up it took him several minutes to claim down. He did not mention it the next day.
This is just one person. Many combat veterans go through this or other episodes as a result of PTSD. But now, thanks to the aftermath of the Vietnam War, the Veterans can get some help at the VA for this problem, at least in California.
The spirit of these real live Veterans are what haunts the generals of today. They did not risk their careers to stop Bush, and they are suffering from that failure to do their job, today.
But then that is a reality that the poor conservatives have to deny, or feel that they must deny.
To bad! They deny at the countries peril.

No. However many us the Bible where is says Thou shall not kill as their refference. The killing here is like going into a store and shooting someone just for the fun of it.
David who was called a man after Gods own heart was a man of war. Moses, Joshua, and Abraham were men of war as well. I do not believe that they are in hell because of their fighting and killing people in war.

That sounds more like a religious than a philosophical question.
I guess the first two questions that need to be addressed are:
1. What, if any of the religious doctrines that man subscribes to are indeed true to their word?
2. Does hell actually exist or is it just contrived as a deterrent to wrong doing in society?

Going to HELL is a big worry for people. To kill your ENEMY in the front is a pleasure. As a christian in the BIBLE it is stated that there is time for every thing. The time to Kill, time to love, the time for peace. If you are fighting for the justification of your country and you did not kill unarmed civilian. This mean you are on duty. You are fighting for your country and to defend it. Killing your enemy is a pleasure of doing a good job because you mighty also be killed. God is a just God. He do not look at things the way we do.Our rightenouness is nothing in the sight of God.To go to hell is only if you do not accept Jesus as your savior according to my faith.Killing your enemy in war you will CAPITAL NO--- you will not go to HELL.

We cannot judge the intentions of those that go to war. There are those that go for the satisfaction of killing, but the majority are there defending what they believe in. There were handfuls of wars in the bible, and men were commanded to slay others who stood in the way of righteous purposes. War is not totally black and white, and only God knows the intentions of those that fight. There's no use worrying ourselves with the things we have no control over. Worry about whether you're going to hell. You have control over that.

No it is not true, actually there is truth to the fact that if you die in the commission of the saving, and betterment of man/mankind you actually have your foot in the door and through the heavenly gates.
Your friend will not go to hell. Besides, this could be hell and we are just trying like hell to get out of it.

Don't know why you'd think that. Read the old testament many of the people we are suppose to look up to went to war and there were many examples of God helping them to win those wars - by killing those they were fighting against.
