I do like guys who are very informative and know everything and know it well. I married a guy like that. At first I was a little intimidated but after getting more comfortable with the way he is I actually learned alot from him. While dating him I was always very proud to be with such an intellect as I still am very proud!

I like a man who is educated and knows things, but not to the point where he is arrogant and thinks he knows all.

You know the kind I mean. He might be talking to an expert in something, yet he knows better than the expert, and doesn't hesitate to state his opinion. Major turn off

In my experience a lot of guys think they are informative and "know about everything well". It usually means they like to hear themselves talk. I don't want an ignorant guy, but I do want a guy to be interested in my opinion as well. And I do like a guy to be open to other ideas than his own. If someone claims he knows "about everything well" they usually know about one side of the matter.

Yes. It's okay. But no one likes a know-it-all. Just because someone has some information about some things, he shouldn't feel like he has to speak on everything. That can be annoying. Being quiet can also speak volumes.

Oh, I like such an informative guy. Because with his information, I will be able to learn from him!.... like a walking encyclopedia :)

no. A guy who knows everything and lets you know in one way or another he knows everything has no place in my progressive world. A guy that remains a mystery always surprises me, As I am one of those girls who try hard to not supercede the opposite sex, but often find it difficult to do without hurting their precious feelings.

It depends.
I like a guy that I can learn from, but I don't like guys who are constantly talking just to show off their knowledge.
It's a fine line, because you have to talk to show that you know something. I think I would tire of a date, though, if he were constantly giving me unsolicited information.

obviously no girl wants a guy that is stupid. I think every girl likes a guy who is informative and knows alot. it's the way they present it though. if they are humble about it then i would love that about him but if he is one of those people where he thinks he is right above anything and anyone else, then no, I wouldn't like that about him. it's all about the presentation.

No. There would be an inferiority issue. (Depends what you mean about knowing "everything". Working on cars, surviving in the woods, etc....those are good things to know everything about.) But as far as acting like a "know it all".....No.

Honestly, no. I used to date a guy who was a know-it-all and I couldn't stand it. Most of our conversations consisted of him saying "Here's what YOU are doing wrong and here's how YOU are going to fix it." I think people like that are very demeaning.
