I'm in the same situation with a guy i meet last year in my opinion you just have to chat for a LONG TIME to make sure he is not a mad killer but just go with your gut feeling BUT not before you TRULY think EVERYTHING through very well

It is just another way to meet someone. After you have chatted for a while, you can get a good idea if the personality is what you are looking for, but until you meet, you will never know if the person is who you are looking for.

i met my wife on the net we talked for over a year before we met we knew everything about each other we are very happy together so yes it is possable some say no but they have never tried it this is not as bad as people think it is

i think you need to be careful, but if you meet in a public place the first time you can sus him first. i met my last gf that way, it didn't last for long but I'd try it again when would you like to meet.
