my boyfriend was recently out of the country and got me a braclet...i was wearing it and it broke, it's been almost a week since this has happened and i haven't mentioned anything to him. i know i should tell him, but when and how?

Just be honest. Let him know in a casual way, and don't make a big deal about it. He should be able to take it back to the jewelry store or have in repaired for a fairly reasonable price.
Don't get worked up about it. These things happen. It's a part of life. Material things will break, wear out, or get stolen. The true treasure should be the relationship you build with your boyfriend.

Well. you are better off telling him as soon as possible.. but you might want to put it into the jewelry shop to get fixed prior to telling him. I have replaced two diamonds on a opal ring my sweetie gave me. But I have let him know each time.. because he would wonder if you weren't wearing it because you didn't like it. Let him know that's not the case.

Tell him you dearly loved the bracelet he had bought you, however, you wear it all of the time and now it broke. You were hoping to get it fixed or something.

tell him the truth right away, he will not get mad,
show him that you are really sorry for what happened and tell him that it is an accident.
He will not get mad if he really loves you, you are more important than the bracelet right? And if so, don't be afraid to tell him the truth!
