they look like they are hand carved-they look like they are old and gramma did some craft on it. Therfore, Gramma knew how much it was worth to her!
I dont know my woods so well, but if they are from Thailand, like the marking says, Chaing Mei, or whatever it was-is the like souviner capital, so to speak, of Bangkok. They do a lot of crafts including woodcarving. Gramma made a trip to Thailand, bought a table she fell in love with it, brought it home to the US. The price on the table is pretty good, $10.50? there are other teak, carved tables for hundreds. Now, those are in really good condition...so...that's got something to do with it.
Anyway, if it was a yard sale, Id totally buy it for $10.50. But on ebay, you still have to add shipping and risk that that price may go up in 3 days....good luck!

I dont think so. any wood can be made to look old.
they dont have a real good shot of the bottom but, if you look at the picture of the top right corner closeup, you cant see any dove tailing on the rear leg underneath, just a glue block. also, the top is attatched with screws and, the screw holes, appear to have been drilled. I dont think I would buy them. without documentation, they are just old, beat up tables.

as an avid ebayer on the buying and selling end, i have found that it is best to post your question in one of the ebay forums regarding authenticity.
