It doesn't
It makes you think you have improved hearing.
Just like it makes you think other people can't tell you are stoned and you giggle a lot!

Generally it doesn't. There are instances where it might improve the hearing of some people (ie: ADD individuals) if it increases your attention span and your immediate area is quiet but you can't how it affects your brain with each instance. In fact generally weed can be 'detrimental' to your hearing as it can induce auditory hallucinations. Its only happened to me a couple times but it was cool as hell when it did though!

Its just your senses getting fooled.
All it really does is improve visual problems, make you hungry (which is good for chemo folks), and it makes you not in so much pain.

you dont your just having very small hallucinations, you shouldnt really be hearing those things
