In 1915 Theodore Roosevelt said, "The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities..." It seems we have reached that point, never to be one again. Americans of European descent did not see this coming and by the time they did we were ushered into Political Correctness (by the Democrats and Acivisis) and Americans now believe that in polite company you do not cause controversy. You do not have a personal opinion because, afterall, the bible tells us to "Love thy neighbor." We have ourselves to thank for the tearing apart of our culture, our way of life and the American Dream. The Activists did not see it happening like this and "without a shot fired," but they are salivating, dreaming of power, riches and high office. All the fancy talk about reconquista is just that, sloganism and babble. They need to flood the country - and drown the Southwestern U.S. - in millions of uneducated, illiterate, dirt poor Mexican Nationals - to intimidate by sheer numbers of souls. The Activists, modeling themselves on the past and present leaders of Mexico and other Latin American nations, do not care about the "indigenous" people who will never have anything to offer other than their strong backs and ability to multiply in great numbers. That is the great tragedy here, the "good people" in both countries are paralyzed with fear of being labeled a "racist" and so they stand silent, hoping that the U.S. government will do what it is mandated to do: Secure the borders and maintain a sovereign nation. Imagine the shock to realize that both parties are open borders people. The wealthy, the owners of big and small businesses, the powerful and the political know that getting an endless supply of cheap labor enriches them. Incredible when you think that any of them has, maybe, 40 more years to live on his planet so why sell out their country for anything. They are banking that their children and grandchildren will move among the priviledged and prepare wills guaranteeing the little dears the riches to do so. Has greed ever reached such a nadir? Again, why would old men (let's say 60+) join such an evil master plan? Are they not concerned about their legacy? Clearly they do not believe there is any price to pay for doing skullduggery here on earth. Bet they all make it to church, synagogue, mosque, etc. while selling their souls. The One World model is well underway and there is no way to stop it. In order for the West to be successful, they must meld the Americas and Canada as one vast "country" to remain a dominant power - or so they have been told and agreed to in whatever ceremony has been designed. Notice how no politician fears obliterating the confines of the Constitution or the Bill of Rights. Our president made that possible early on. Like ducks in a row....
President Eisenhower in 1956 overnight ordered the border sealed and the illegals deported. It was done. He spoke of the destruction to the wage structure and to the living standards of the middle class. George W. Bush could do the same today, although deporting 15 - 20 million cannot be accomplished. Wonder why Mr. President doesn't order the immediate deportation of all illegals who are in our prisons, jails, etc. and as they commit crimes. Read the just released FBI/ICE statistical report for 2005 on which group of people are committing the most serious crimes. You all will be stunned. No newspaper except one in the midwest, I am told, printed the statistics. Why? Because it would anger Liberals. This, from a lifelong Democrat, Liberal, and card carrying member of the ACLU. I am none of those things anymore because of their collusion in destroying America for their own real and idiological gains. Disgusting. Criminal. Anti-American. And we "good" people are to blame. We are so generous and isn't it just wonderful? I find these Americans to be pathetic and on a par with the evildoers.

I'd disagree with that quote. Before the Consitution there was no guarantee that we'd continue as a single nation or as 3, or 4, or 13 seperate and independent ones. The Constitution is truely the defining document of the United States. Blood Soil and Memory? Many of the Founding Fathers hadn't lived in the USA for very long, and they came from a variety of backgrounds.

20 years ago, this country got along fine without the massive load of illegal immigrants. Teenagers & Senior Citizens worked the low paying/minimum wage jobs. Crops were grown by consortiums and family run farms.

Don't get me wrong, there will be a major shakeup in the economy if we were even able to kick out the illegals. I think few people realize the collosal amount of work it'd take, not to mention just how long.

In the midwest, corporations have gobbled up the farms and imported cheap labor. Throughout the country, the cheap, unprotected labor is easily found and easily replaced if they should turn into an uppity slave.
The idea that the country would fold in upon itself and collapse is silly at best.
Beware... there is a huge amount of money to be made by continuing illegal immigration. Corporate America will not allow their 100+ million bonuses to be tampered with by any silly border control or guest work program. Think about it. If the guest worker program were to go into effect, companies would need to start paying a semi-decent wage as well as paying to protect the health of those slaves. Why bother with importing immigrants if they're going to have to pay for their safety. That's just silly!
