My husband and I decided that we would rather take a huge honeymoon that spend a whole lot on the wedding. So we got married in a church and had a nice little reception at hall. Spent less than 5000 and it was great, really beautiful. If you are creative, you can think of ways to have a beautiful and expensive looking wedding on a small budget. Then we took the rest of the money, what was supposed to be used on the wedding and went for a month long trip to Europe. It was amazing, it was way worth spending less on the wedding for the amazing honeymoon. Way more memories that way

Depending on how many guests you invited and what kind of wedding you like to have will determine the cost of your wedding. my husband and I had our wedding 1 yr ago with 300 guest costing us 50 grand. We flew 15 guest from East coast over for our wedding may be the reason to why our wedding cost so much. We also went to Hawaii on our honeymoon. It's nice but to expensive. We've been to much better place than Hawaii.

Our budget will be $5000 for the wedding for 150 invited guests in my home town in western New York.

Honeymoon to Mexico for $2000.

weddingchannel.com has an amazing budgeter, so however much you choose to spend, I would use their tools.

Good Luck!

We got married in the hall where I had my reception not a church, in a small town south of Pittsburgh. It cost us about $5000. And I was 6mos pregnant so we didn't have a honey moon.
