my gf is offically going to be joining a sorority. she's known me for a year and a half and known how much i hate greek system. she didnt do it last year but tells me now she wants to be invovled in the school and a group. greek system isnt my thing and it's caused problems in the past with coming back upset after a party or something because the girls were mean to her getting super sick at a frat party. Now her being in the sorority just wont make me feel better. we've talked about it a lot and argued but i think it's going to be a break up. we also have a class together which makes it even harder. any advice?

Yeah, that's tough. Just give it a chance. If it doesn't work out then you are no worse for trying. If you feel she still wants to have a relationship, then sometimes you have to take the good with the bad.
Now the thing about going to the frat parties, that doesnt cut it. Obviously you know the culture there. Maybe invite her to some of your friends' parties instead. If she insists on attending the Greek parties, then you probably should just try to be friends with her. Good luck.

Stop being a controlling bf and not letting your gf do what she wants!!! She is her own self and can make her own decisions. Just cause the greek system is not YOUR thing doesn't mean it's not HER thing.

You should break up with her(your gf) so you can ruin another girls life by being a controlling ******

I bet you know nothing about greek life and your jealousy cause hate. Maybe if you knew anything about greek life your opinion would be changed

I think it's silly to let something like her joining a sorority come in between you. It shows you never had a strong relationship to begin with.

I agree about the greek system. They are snobs and back-biters. I've seen girls gang up on other girls. That seems to be what it's all about. It seems you and your girl are growing apart. End it now and find someone not so shallow. Good luck.
