Here are a few you can try one at a time or a few in conjuction with eachother.

1. If you have a room with linoleum, stay in it for a few hours with her stripped naked so that when she starts to go, you can point it out to her and rush her onto the potty.

2. Big praise. Clapping and yahooing when she goes.

3. Maybe an M&M when she goes. Only if she goes on the potty though, not if she just sits.

4. I didn't care for pull-ups. My daughter just thought they were diapers and would potty in them without a second thought. So we went and made a big production out of picking out some "big girl panties". She picked out Elmo and Dora's. We went through six pair in one day, but by the time I ran out and put a diaper on her, she was so disappointed to have that diaper back on, that for the next hour she would jump up and down to go potty every time she felt a little come out. The next week we were with my brothers and all their kids (who are older) and we all made a big deal out of going to the potty. She was trained from then on.

I sit my 20 month old on the potty with her clothes on and let her play. Now I've started putting her on the potty naked. She pulls one sheet of paper at a time off the roll and puts it in the potty, but once or twice she has accidently gone and I really made a big deal out of it. Now she's waking up dry so I try to encourage her to sit on the potty first thing. I'm thinking she may train earlier than the other did.

Good luck!

PS She may get the pee pee on the potty pretty fast, but I've found most will not want to go poo poo on the potty for awhile. For some reason they don't like it.

I started potty training around 18 months, because she just seemed ready. Your daughter has to be ready, don't rush her. Let her watch you pee, it seems silly but let her hear it and see it, so she knows what you're doing.

Then once she understands the concept, you can help her do it herself. Let her run around naked. (You might have to clean up a few messes). Suggest going "pee pee" whenever you think of it. If she doesn't have to go just then, let her sit and play for a few minutes. Then keep at it. If you want, put the potty in an accessable place ( I put it in the hall). Let her use paper, flush and wash her hands. Above all, be patient and don't get angry if she doesn't get it right away.

when my 3rd daughter was 3 ( last year ) , I made a chart out of white poster board and colored markers. there were different catagories to which if she completed, each time she would get a sticker. ex. of the catagories are ( go potty, wipe, flushpotty, wash hands ect. ) it really helped her and she was so proud to see all of the stickers that she had earned for being a good girl ! Oh yea, it also made for a good conversation topic when company would come over and they used the restroom. eveyone always complemented on what a good idea they thought it was and how they wish they had thought of it when they were teaching their kid(s) to potty train!!! GOOD LUCK!!!

i started to introduce the concept of potty to my daughter when she was 18 months old by buying her potty. she would see it around the house near our bathroom. i wanted her to get use seeing it. then when she turned two i bought a book about a young boy who was given a potty by his gramma as a gift. we read it and she got inspired to try potty too. it worked!!!

It's all done in their own timing. Extreme patience, love, and encouragement when they do something on the potty. Don't push whatever you do. It will happen eventually.

i taught my daughters a song to sing while they were on the toilet. it was crazy but it worked.
my oldest daughter was fine with a potty chair, but my oldest wanted steps and could hold herself up on the toilet.
lots of praise!
i wish that I would have had these nice wet wipes to help them clean themselves.

Well, this may sound crazy. But, make up songs if your daughter like music. Make up the pee-pee & doo-doo song about where it go's & use something as an instrument for her to play. I've been in church b4 & after my son was born & my son loves the drums and shout & praise music was the key for me. "Make peepee in the toliet" or "Make doo-doo in the toliet" just an idea. God bless :-)
