If you are trying to lose weight in your mid-section cut out all white flours. That means no white bread, no white rice, no pasta, no pizza, no cake, cookies, pancakes... The weight will fly off of your stomach. Instead eat whole grains, wheat bread, rye bread...
White flours do not get easily digested so they just sit on your stomach. Whole grains, however, actually help your digestion so they do not even stay in your body. They get flushed out when you go to the bathroom.

I disagree with Mathew T about it not being safe to lose more than 2 lbs per week. You can safely lose 5-7 lbs per week if you consume all of your daily nutrition to keep your body healthy. Atkins will help you to lose that much weight. I had great success with it for a short while but finally just couldn't take eating all that fat. I didn't feel well most of the time either. It works beautifully for some but just wasn't for me. I've found success with the Cambridge Diet. Average weight loss is 5-7 lbs per week and the body receives 100% of it's necessary vitamins, minerals AND trace elements. Doing the cambridge diet along with an sensible exercise routine would produce big results. I lost 17 lbs in 3 weeks on Cambridge and yes, it was under my doctor's supervision. She was thrilled and said this is the diet she's going to recommend to all of her patients with 15 or more lbs to lose. Oh, and it's pretty cheap too.

You can not safely lose weight that quickly. 1-2lbs per week is considered healthy and safe. You can exercise all you want and not lose weight if you are eating more calories than you are consuming. In order to lose 1 lb you need to burn 3,500 more calories than you consume. To get an idea of how many calories you eat and burn check out the website www.sparkpeople.com

ina ll seriousness what i did was a atkins diet but took out all the horrorible fat and added fruits and veggies and water,protien shakes,protien bars,diet soda,coffee no kididng!!!!!!!!!! but becareful just like any diet there is consequences that go with it but the ones i am paying were worth it, minor stomach problems nothing that will kill me but then again low carb dieting is new lets think about it like a new medication your taking a chance, whena new miricle medicine comes out we hear all about the good and the common side effects but we never hear about the long term side effects! all things to be considered before making any decedsions as to what you do best of luck my friend

you might be able to loss 10 lbs with in a month you will have to eat al least 6 times a day small meals of course and excersice the best thing to do is to go to a gym and talk to a personal instructor

To answer your question, you should change you eating habits and cut down on sweets and junk food. Excercise 3 sets of 5-10 sets. Do this slowly and give your body time to get use to it.
Don't try those quick fix solutions, they don't work. Start out slowly and you will lose weight in no time.

ok, as unhappy as this sounds, dropping your voice can fairly be a stable element. xD for many motives. My considerable one? once you're at college it fairly is an excuse for the teachers to not call on you. yet another one? it fairly is kinda exciting. In a humorous way. Well, either you can use your Ab lounge, or you can wire your jaw shut and quit whining. If you need to loose weight NOW, why didn't you think about it sooner and starting doing little things to shave off ounces here and there???
