This is my first child and My husband decided he wanted to name him Damien and I want to name him Cody... Which name would you perfer?

Out of your 2 choices I like Cody. Damien reminds me of the little devil child in "The Omen."

Cody for sure. Damien is the little devil boy in one of those horror flicks that was popular when I was a kid. I would look the names up to find out what each means as well.

My Wife and I are choosing between Joshua and Jacob. But since that's not an option, I'd go with Cody ... Even though that sounds like the kid in school that might have a strange facination with guns. Damien is just too creepy (even though our baby name book says the meaning is "soother.")

Neither -- I'm sorry -- I have a VERY open mind when it comes to names, but Damien is associated with demonic/evil and Cody went out of style 12 years ago.....
