I think it is a very dull book with a few interesting phrases/quotes. I think it is possible that the bible wasn't translated with 100% accuracy and, I think it's possible that those who translated it may have thrown in a few things to try to scare and encourage people to behave in a certain manner. Still, I think it's probably the best "guide" we have to work with, but should view it with some skepticism and our own common sense.

Book that unfold the salvation plan of God for all mankind.

Book that express God's love for sinners from the very begining up till Jesus came to died, and even now.

Book that allow us to know the heart of God.

Book that is most misunderstood, mis-quoted, abused.

fact, you consider ceaser's writings valid, why not the Bible, there was a bigger time gap from the original documents on Ceaser's writings to the ones we have today than there was for the Bibe

It is a collection of mythology from 5,000 - 1800 years ago.

Most of it is filled with nomadic goat-herders trying to justify their genocide of other tribes.

it was created as a means of controlling masses with fear and guilt.. that and WAY too many people wouldn't know how to act right if there was nothing or no one to tell them how to act. I belive they refer to themselves as "sheep".. not a bad thing if thats what you need.

I believe it is a book with answers if that is what you are looking for. If you are looking for a great story strangly written it is what ever you are looking for.
