Don't be in a rush to give it up; relationships are more complicated after sex. Your relationship can never go back to the way it was before. Take the time to get to know each other & yourself 1st.

They have problems? When my bf and I met, I was a virgin, and he wasn't. I am nearly 23 now, but was 22 when I told him this. He said that I was like a gem that every guy would want but hardly any ever found. He couldn't believe it. It made me feel very special to know I waited for him. I don't think guys have problems with virgins.... at least I've never met any that had a problem.

I am 24, a guy and a virgin myself. I have no problem with virgins and anybody that says they do, needs some attention. Waiting until you are married is one of the most respectful things you can do to respect yourself and your body. With society portraying what it does on TV now, the youth of tomorrow have no chance. So if you have met somebody that had a problem with you because of this tell them to take it somewhere else(politely said).

I didn't know that guys did have a problem with virgins. I actually thought that it was quite the opposite. I thought men found women who were virgins attractive. Maybe men don't want a virgin because they know that they are not easy and won't be able to get them into bed.

There comes a responibility to a guy that is willing to take your virginity. Upon this man lays the reputation of all men, he must make the experience for his inexperienced partner as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. If he does not he is a bad lover and probably a lousy human being, or a virgin himself.

I'll answer you, and apologize up front for being blunt.

I don't want a virgin because I just don't want to have to teach the person that I am with every single little thing that I like. I would rather be with someone that not only has some clue as to please a man, but also how they themselves like to be pleased.

firstly it is a child like state , sex is part of life to enjoy. Like good food and good wine
secondly like any other human endevour sex requires practice, virgins are duds
thirdly it is just ridiculous to hold on to it like it is important, like a teddy bear.
fourthly it is not the 21st century, we dont need to have virgins to ensure that a mans son is his own

grow up and be an adult

i think that because their is this perception that a female always remembers her first time and that it is really important and special to her and that she wants to marry the first guy she sleeps with. this in turn puts an enormous amount of pressure on the guy to perform and he therefore freaks out thinking he can't live up to her physical and emotional expectations.
