Fortunately, there are many more options than just Bud and Bud Light. However, if you are looking for the brand that has the most sales in the world, then the previous posters are correct, that would be Budweiser. But if you meant best as in what brand tastes the best then there is no true answer. I myself prefer either sour-Belgian style beers or extremely hoppy beers, both of which Budweiser and Bud Light lack. A good place to start your search for what kind of beer you prefer would be Sam Adams. Sam Adams carries nearly 20 different types and styles of beer and you could probably find a good place to start with them. Good Luck in your search!

Budweiser, coors miller and all those other big name beers look and taste like piss. Pyramid Apricot ale is my favorite, but they don't sell it where I live so I only get to drink it when I go home to CA once a year :(

Stay away from American beer, it's all crap and full of chemicals.
I think Augustiner from Munich (not the crap they sell off in the US or Oz) is the best
