If you are interested in joining or just learning more about the Catholic Church, contact your local parish and ask about information about their RCIA Inquiry group.
You can go and ask any questions you want.
This is the first step in RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) but you can stop at any time.
There is no obligation to become a Catholic.
You won't be accepted into the priesthood while you have the responsibility of raising and financially supporting your child. This is our of respect for both the dignity of your child and the vocation of priesthood.
Your marriage may also be an impediment. Although you can see if it can be nullified (annulled).
With love and prayers in Christ.

If you're not even Catholic yet, it is way too soon to be thinking about becoming a priest. First you need to be Catholic and spend some serious time discerning if the priesthood is your vocation. If you haven't even joined the Church then thinking about the priesthood is jumping the gun. It may be your calling, but you need to focus on other things right now.
You wouldn't be ordained as long as your child is a minor. You would probably have to get an annulment too, although I am not sure. Ask a priest who knows canon law. But first and foremost join the Church to start!

I don't think priest would be your calling if you have a child, but you can still become a Catholic. Call your local parish and ask about RCIA. This is the time of year when new classes are forming, so your timing is perfect.
Here are some online resources you might enjoy:

Just wanted to add that if you haven't remarried an annulment is not necessary to become a Catholic. An annulment would only be necessary if you were planning on remarrying because then your first marriage would need to be investigated to see if it was valid.

I don't think you can become a priest now, but I could be mistaken.
You still have the option of becoming a Deacon. Deacons can be married with children, or single men. This too is a very noble calling that's worth considering if you discover for sure that priesthood is out of the question.

go to your local catholic church and ask the priest what measures and steps you need to take to become a priest also let him know your situation and if you can be accepted into the priesthood. a bishop or cardinal may also give you a pardon.

You can only be a priest if you learn how to properly molest children.
