Hello patrick,

It sounds like she might be cute on the outside, but she is ugly and hurtful on the inside. You are not going to change her, Patrick. She is going to stay the same way, unless she feels like she needs to. You acting like a pu.ssy isn't going to force her to change.

Personally, I would dump her. I know that this sounds harsh. There are plenty of cute girls that aren't as high maintenance out there. You haven't found the right one yet. There are girls that might not be as cute, that will treat you a whole lot better. Keep looking, Patrick.

You are a good person and don't deserve to be treated this way by anyone, let alone someone who claims that they love you. Good luck and happy hunting.

I'm not sure you're going to be able to change that. It seems that would be part of her personality. Eventually, if you two were deserted on an island, she might adopt your type of speech and mannerisms. But the world is so sarcastic and cruel these days, young people pick up those habits without even realizing it.

Instead of letting your feelings get hurt, maybe you could try understanding why she talks that way, and just being a bit less sensitive. That might be good for you to learn, in facing the world as it is.

Sometimes, the things about our partners that upset us the most at first.... turn out to be the things that round us out and make us more adaptable. We complete one another by tolerating and loving one another.

You could ask her to tone it down a bit, but I think some adapting is going to be necessary from both of you.

You probably can't. Her behavior may have been instilled by her parents since childhood. Or maybe she's just having a bad hormone trip....whatever.

What you can change is this: Your location.

Either walk away from someone who treats you with little-to-no respect, or learn to suck it up and put up with the barbs. Regardless of her reasons for being the way she is, those are about the only two realistic choices you have....

Well, you can't change someone. How can you be so sure that she 'loves' you?...Because a person that 'loves' you doesn't say words to hurt you.

Don't confuse external beauty with internal. Looks isn't everything and you will soon learn that no matter what, ultimately you cannot change the nature of someone, i.e., their personality.

Let her know it bothers you but she will have to change on her own, you can't change her. Tell her it hurts your feelings and you should honestly have a talk and find out the real reason she is venting to you. She might have something that is really bothering her but she is taking it out on you or she really is mad at you for something you can talk through.

Tell her, in a subtle way. Let her know how you feel about her, and then tell her that the way she talks to you is disrespectful or hurts your feelings. Explain to her what she is doing and why it hurts you. If she really cares about you, then she will not take it as a sign of weakness, she will care about you and make a conscious effort to keep your feelings in mind when she talks to you.

tell her it bothers you, be sincere. If she doesn't change don't take it, just leave or walk out she'll get the message then. If it increases more that she knows you don't like it, forget she's a pain in the *ss.

tell her your cute but not that cute. i dont like it when you talk to me like that stop it or take a hike. you can make it a little nicer but not to much take a stand and put your best foot forward and dont let the "beauty" get in the way.

If the way she talks hurts you, it isn't love. You can't change her unless you leave and she wises up. Good luck.

My husband says the samething about me.... just let her know when she's doing it... it's probably not intentional and if she doesn't care you'll have to decide if it's something you can live with.. because you can't make her change... she has to want to.
