From my experience starving yourself have good and bad effects. Starving yourself one day and eating the next will cause you to gain more weight if you are incline to eat more because you are hungry and that happens alot of the time unless you are hell bent on losing weight. If you are constantly starving yourself you do lose some weight, but you are also losing important nutrients you body needs to survive and you feel tired most of the time cause you are losing these important nutrients. My advice exercise and maybe cut back on one meal a day if you are use to eating two times a day eat one or if you are use to eating three times a day eat two only. BUT DON'T STARVE YOURSELF COMPLETELY IT'S BAD AND NOT AT ALL GOOD FOR YOU DO YOU WANT TO KILL YOURSELF OR WHAT.

Sort of...what happens is your metabolism slows down a lot. So next time you eat your body barely uses any calories and stores most of what you just ate. So yes you put on just as much as you lost if not more (in fat pounds but you might lose weight in the end from muscle, tissue, etc).

What happens when you don't eat is your body thinks food is not available. Your body then switches from fat burning to fat storing. Instead of starving yourself, bump up your metabolism by eating 6 smaller meals throughout the day, and, that dreaded word, exercise...even if it's just walking more than you usually do. When you do that your body realizes it's getting plenty of food and doesn't need to store fat.

I will say no but it would not be good to starve yourself because your body needs food to produce energie,so trie eating less but have more protein to gain good wieght and burn fat. Never starve yourself!!!!!! I have found that eating less helps shrink the stomach and helps you loose wieght and keep fit

yes because eventually you do have to eat again and your body will store all you eat as fat to protect itself against the next time you decide to starve yourself.
