My Fiancee and I have been together for almost a year now, and when we first started dating he was smoking pot....I did not like it but I dealt with it for 6 months then told him I wanted to quit. He quit because he wanted to. He didn't mention anything about it for 2 months and now suddenly he is getting pissy all the time at me and telling me I cannot drink anymore and if I do that he will just go smoke pot. I don't know what is wrong with him....I am suspicious that he may have smoked pot behind my back or cheated on me and now he is trying to tell me not to drink, so in turn I will, then he can smoke pot....what do you think? Please help??

Maybe he feels you have taken away his ''thing'' you enjoy a drink, he enjoys a smoke, people enjoy a gamble, everyone is different, he may be upset because your still doing your thing by having a drink yet he cant do his anymore.

Well, I suggest you two stop being immature and have a little heart-to-heart about the relationship and where it's going.

You don't like his pot use, he doesn't like your alcohol use. Why don't you both quit abusing these things, because it's only going to destroy your relationship.

Also, men don't like being told what to do. It makes them feel like they're losing personal control and are "whipped". You shouldn't have gotten involved with him in the first place. Maybe you should seek an alcoholic and go from there.

he is pissy, as you put it, because he is feeling denied his pot but you still continue to drink. Does he drink like you do? If He doesn't then he feels alianated with you because you still do a drug and he doesn't. If he drinks with you, then he is just probably jonesing for his fix. If you want to help him with this, make sure he hasn't done pot, then offer him something you normallly wouldn't that will get his attention.

I think that he shouldn't smoke pot and that you shouldn't drink. You should tell him that you care about him and don't want him to be unhealthy or get hurt and tell him that if he continues to NOT smoke pot then you will maybe consider cutting back on drinking.Compromise people!Good Luck!

Well you knew he smoked pot before so you can live with it or dump him and move on why would you have even considered dating someone who does drugs anyway?

You both should act like you did when you first met thats why you liked each other. If one of you wants to quit then do it but don't make the other one you will just end up fighting over it.

Depends on if you want to do jail time, being around him when he smokes weed, you won"t go to jail for drinking unless you drive or cause a public disturbance, but with weed he"s looking for trouble. It"s up to you if you wanna be with him when he gets busted.

You sound too immature to be getting married. If this is a problem for You Now... then You got one heck of a Ride coming later on.
