OK!! i nuked the cheese and it melted perfectly..ummm...home made nachos...*drool*
maybe tommorow i tried the cooking method..hehe..um..melted cheese with chips..ngeh~~

Dude your killing me. I am craving some nachos now. I am not sure about the local supermarket but at the whole sale stores like Sam's or Costco's carry the nacho cheese like you get at the movie theater or the ball game. Get you some nachos and your set. I did like the idea the guy had earlier with the Velveeta and salsa and nuking it is a great idea to, you can also add a little cooked sausage or hamburg to that to to really make a meal out of it. Man I am getting hungry in this food room

To melt cheese you have to heat it..
Since you are making nachos I would suggest using the oven..put the tortilla chips on a pan, sprinkle cheese on tortilla chips, and stick it in the oven until you see the cheese has melted.

1. put the chips in the microwave with the cheese on them
2. or put nacho cheese (usually in a can) in a bowl and heat it up in the microwave
3. If no microwave you can warm nacho cheese in a double boiler or crock pot or even in a sauce pan on the stove but you must put that on medium low and stir it every so often

put the cheese in a bowl and then into a bowl of bowling hot water, stir until melted. it's better than the microwave because this way the cheese won't get cooked.

Oh that's easy. The best way is to just take some shredded cheese and place it on the chips and mircowave for a couple of minutes....oh sooooo good. Can I come over and share? Heck I'll even make them for you!

Put tablespoon of flour, a cup of milk and spoon full of butter, and a cup or two of shreded or cut up cheese in a pot and keep stirring and it makes a cheese sauce. Dont stop stirring cause it will burn if your not careful.
