well, my first day of school was the worst day ever. I could not find any of my classes and when I did they were the wrong class or the class was almost over ( my school is HUGE, under construction and really confusing) so I ended up skipping and going back to look at the middle school which i miss so much to visit some of my friends. I really dont want to go back to the high school but I know I have to, Advice?

meet up with your guidance counselor about 30 min before or after school. she can help you with your classes and you won't look like a dork running from class to class

don't worry, i was in a private school and did it for about 3 weeks when i went to public school. we only had 3 floors, but it was confusing to someone who didn't know what was going on.

stay after and find them yourself if you don't want to talk to your counselor. that way you know which way to go and most teachers are kind to tell you where you are suppose togo, just find a nice teacher and ask for help too.

Ask someone in school who knows their way around to help you find everything. You should not skip classes and drop out just because you can't find your way around. Once you get used to everything (should only take a few days) you'll be fine. You should also ask that your school provide maps and perhaps a day to let new high school students get a tour of the school.

Go up to a friendly-looking older kid tomorrow (don't pick Mr/Ms Popular, though, that could backfire). Tell them you're having trouble finding your classes & what tip/advice could they give you. Remember, they made the change not too long ago, and had to deal with the same newness, confusion & chaos. Most people will want to help you, if you sincerely want some help. (Don't use this as a come-on or pickup line - that would be lame).

does your school have like a little map in an agenda or something? there you can look where your classes are, and make it a little easier not getting lost. Also look for people who have the same class as you that hour/mod or a classroom near you, that way you also wont have to walk the halls allone.

Good luck on day 2.

They should have given you a map of the school ask for one. Explain you can't find the rooms. Did they do an open house and show you around? Most schools do.
High schooler hanging around the middle school is creepy.

You are not the only one to have problems finding your classroom. Check and see if any of your friends have the same classes or ask a teacher to direct you.

You must get used to it! High School is very important and if you skip classes, nobody will know you.
