Everyone is completly right.. it does depend on where you live. In NC it is averageing $95-$150 a week for an infant... but, you need to make sure they are registered... each state has its own rules. Here you can keep 2 unrealated children(for more than 4 consective hours) WITHOUT having to be registered. Get all the info you can on your sitter. Good luck

Depending on the hours your work. If you work full time days expect about at least minimum wage per hour. If you work evenings it could cost even more. My daughter works 3 days a week 12 hour shifts, we watch our grandchild but it would have cost her $200.00. If you do find a sitter make sure she is willing to be paid by check so that at the end of the year your can deduct it from your taxes. Also let the sitter know up front that you will be deducting and will report her wages, therefore, needing her social security number and she will have to pay taxes on her earnings. If you pay her in cash, you will not be able to deduct child care. ( excuse me for using her, males make wonderfull babysitters also)

Depends on the area you live in. I live in a town of about 11k population, and paid $15.00 a day for a 4 month old a few years ago...can't imagine it has changed much around here since Day Care is around $18.00 a day.

Depends on where you live. In Washington DC it is about 200-400 per week.
In rural areas it ranges from 90-175 per week.
