The girl I love most, I pretty much only have contact through instant messenger. I think the feelings are mutual. Gal's, help me out here. Is it totally anti-romantic to ask someone if they like you over AIM? It's not an online-relationship. I know the girl in real life. I just don't see her often enough to have a good opportunity.
Is face-to-face first admitance of romantic feelings exponentially more desirable to a lovely lady, or is a simple IM of, "can I ask you something? (sure) Do you like me as much as I like you?"?

ok, here's a better summary of the question: If your a girl, and you're waiting for a guy to ask you out... do you prefer it sooner, or more romantic, even if that means waiting a month+?

I guess it could work. But I'm not about to advocate AIM romances. I mean sometimes they work, but how do you know that that person def feels the same way? That they're not cheating on you? It's so much sweeter to ask her face-to-face. It shows you really care and that your relationship is important. Best of luck

I think asking a girl if they like you is kinda lame and for kids. If you both are adults-i'd think you would know by the clues shes putting off rather or not shes into you as much as your into her. If you really like her ask her to be your girlfriend, if she says yes than its pretty obvious shes really inot you also.
Ask her in person, dont do it of instant messenger...

romanice is an action done that needs an imediot reaction like flowers or coming home to a room filled with candles. I could tell you i want to do these things but all it is is a conversation between two ppl. A nice one but still not the ACTUAL romance

You can ask someone do you like them on IM if you know the person long enough to share good things to each other.but I can't answer your question:"Do you like me as much as I like you?"
You seem nice, but I goota know more in a person before I let out the personal details!

I think that you should start with something a little less "BIG"...like, "Does it make sense that I actually miss you when I am busy with my day?" and then gage her response. Don't just pour it out there until you ask small questions to see what her response will be. I hope this helps you.

Awww....you are the sweetest. You seem to express yourself well with words. What's wrong with expressing yourself with an IM? I think you are doing fine....but can you call her?
