okay theres this guy and we have a past (i asked him out & he said no but it was stupid b/c i hadn't talked to him yet lol and he avoided me for a year or so) but then i come back and hes there and its like BOOM. he talks to me a LOT and stuff some days but then others he seems all shy and awkward or maybe he just doesn't want to talk to me. it really confuses me and im wondering if a guy talks to you a bunch one day and only a little the next, but he never goes a day without looking at you or saying SOMETHING to you, no matter how stupid, does it mean he likes me?
even considering our past could he ask me to homecoming dance?

Possibly. It sounds like it. You two are what? About 15 or 16? Help the guy out and talk to him a little more. The poor guy is probably a little shy. Happens to most of us when we're young.

I don't know, but if you have to wait on him to get the nerve to ask you, you'll be grey haired and angry with him.
Ask him if he is going to the dance next time that you see him. Or you could go all the way and ask him if the two of you can go together to the dance, or you could simply meet each other at the dance.
Your past is your past, you need to concentrate on the here and now. Good luck.

guys are silly although some guys need to take time to process what there next move is n that probably y he talks one day no not the next. i belive u should just go with the flow n see what happens but u might want to ask him y it took him a year to talk to u and y

Well, he might like you. Even though you asked him out before and he said no, his feelings could change over that past year. It does seem that he likes you, but the question is do you still like him?

It sounds to me that you are the one who is interested in him. He is the snobbish type and careless about how you feels. He is what I would call a person who only cares about himself.. ie self-centred, selfish, arrogant and anti-social type. I suggests you don't even needed to consider him as someone special but just another passer-by. That is what he is doing to you.... sorry gurl

well you can starting talking to him first, little by little not all BOOM in one day ok. when he doesn't want to talk it DOES NOT mean he doesn't like you, he probrably wasn't or isn't in the mood that day. guys get mad too and the pressure. just try talking to him little by little and show your concerns about him. good luck

It seems to me that maybe he wants you to chase him or something! Find a guy that you don't have to guess what he wants and feels and it won't be nearly as confusing!
