I understand what you are going through. I have the same problem. Mine led to panic attacks, which led me to a therapist. I was somewhat ok for about a year but my worries and panic attacks are back. Talk to your mom. She'll understand and hopefully find you someone to talk to. Good luck.

I'm so sorry that you are experiencing such anxiety over death at such a very young age. Did something happen in your life that is causing you to think of death so much? I totally suggest you let your mom know and she can find you a psychologist or counselor so you can talk out with this person your fears. You might only need to go to 1 or 2 visits and find that you are o.k. after that. But you DEFINATELY need to let your mom know and she needs to get help for you. You are way too young to be thinking of death so much. You should be having fun and having nice dreams. Tell your mom because she needs to know and don't ever be afraid to let her know because if there is anyone in the world who loves you more is your mom. I wish you the best.

You are probably not dying. It sounds like you are fixated on the idea, though, and it's causing you a lot of pain.
Get over the paralysis and tell your mom how upset you are. Get a nice, thorough checkup, for reassurance if nothing else.
It would probably help if you talked this out with a counselor, too.
I hope you don't just sit on this. I did almost the same thing when I was 15, and I deeply regret it. Time wasted. These could be among the happiest years of your life. You should claim some of that happiness for yourself.

What you're describing is very natural - the question is how you deal with this fear. Most people, as they grow up, come to terms with it - we are all going to the same place (or as one friend put it, most people are dead). How do you come to terms with it? First, talk to your parents. Just telling them will make a huge difference. I know as a teenager that it can be uncomfortable dealing with your folks on "personal" issues - but they care about you and they can help you (or find the help that you may need)...can't tell them, then turn to a local religious person (priest, minister, rabbi), or a counselor at your school... The thing to remeber is that you aren't some wierdo or freak for having these fears, and your counselor or rabbi won't be surprised or shocked.
Don't let it fester...what can happen is that you become so affraid of a panic attack that you give yourself on.....good luck.

Dying is something we all have to experience. Living is also something we all have to experience. Living is scarier than dying. If you believe in Christ and that he came to die for YOUR sins. Ask him to help you understand and come to terms with this question that you are having difficulty overcoming. Believe me when I say I have been through hell in my life time, and yes there are times I wish I would never die because life at the time is fantastic. but the reality is, if you are born you must die. God has all the answers. Just look into the heavens and sincerely ask God to help you understand these feelings and I promise you, he will answer your questions.

I really think you should talk to your mom or a trusted adult that you are close with, and ask if you can talk with a therapist, counselor or psychiatrist. I think this is a fear everyone has, and I can relate to how you are feeling, but I don't want it to rule your life because you have a long life ahead of you. There is medication you can take for your panic attacks. I know my advice not going to solve what you and most of us fear the most, but I think it can help you learn to deal with it better. Please take my advice.
