It's not horrible, but cats are actually lactose intolerant. If it's not upsetting his/her stomach, then I wouldn't worry about it.

Im sure A tablespoon or so once in awhile would be ok (were all guilty of sharing sometimes) But it is really bad for them, and should only be a rare treat.

Cats and dogs both cannot digest cows milk. it can give them stomach problems, including but not limited to the diarrhea, which can dehydrate them and they can get very ill or even die :(

So you have to think is it worth it? if you really want to give your cat a treat, give them a little bit (like a tablespoon) of tuna mixed in with there food

My cat drank a little bit of milk every day and she was fine but if milk doesn't agree with your cats belly Whiskas makes a lactose free cat milk. It's by the cat food in a purple box that looks like a juice box. My cats always liked that too. Or you could give your cat some low sodium chicken broth for a little treat. Mine loved tuna "juice" too.

As a rule of thumb, milk is bad for cats. BUT, if you give the cat just a little every so often it won't hurt them where they will become deathly ill. BUT milk will give the cat the runs. SOOOOO, if you do decide to give the cat milk be prepared for what might be coming.

It's not bad and not necessary. Cats don't benefit nutritionally from cow's milk or any milk after weaning.

One of my cats likes to lap up the milk in the bottom of my cereal bowl if he is around when I'm eating breakfast. I also break off a small tip of my bacon when I have that. Cats like fat.

I doubt a couple of tablespoons will affect your cat. However, condensed milk is not good because it contains sugar - something cats don't tolerate well. Too much milk and your cat may suffer an upset stomach and that will not "end up well" if you know what I mean...

Be sure the kitty litter is clean.

Not too much is okay every now and again as a treat.
It is true that most cats love milk and will gladly drink it up, but it gives them constipation (poor kitties).

So once in a while is fine (like once a week or less) and make sure you only give her a very little.

adult cats are lactose-intolerant so don't give them cow's milk, it will make them sick to their stomach and throw up or have diarrhea. but a couple of tablespoons probably won't hurt. there are a whole bunch of cat milk products out there, I think one is called "Cat Milk" and there is one called "Cat-Sip", those are okay to give to your cat. These are lactose-free milks. I also heard somewhere that cream is better to give to a cat than regular milk because it has less lactose in it, but it will probably give you a fat cat!

Some cat's stomachs get upset, but a give my cats a little bit of milk every few days and they're fine--just dont give them too much-because they can get sick from too much.

Not really *bad* but not so great.

As others have noted, cats tend to be lactose intolerant.

Thing is, the intolerance develops as they age, so kitty might be OK with a little milk now, but as she gets older it might start to give her diarrhea.

It's not great for their digestive system. A tablespoon itself is okay, but not much more than that. I usually let my cats have a few licks of my yogurt or ice cream as a treat, but not every day. Your cat doesn't need it.
