Ha, just kidding. That's the dumbest argument I've ever heard in favor of illegal immigration. I was born here, as were my parents and grandparents.

Has anyone heard any arguments that are more moronic than that one? If so, please share it.

I agree with you.
When people talk that s**t, they talk as if America was always the technological paradise it is now, and white immigrants came in and stole everything from the backward savages that were here first.

I was born here too, yet there are STILL people out there that treat me like I just swam across the border? why is that? because my skin isn't light enough? becuase my eyes aren't blue enough? you are an @ssh0le.

YOU ARE an immigrant. EVERYONE HERE IS, minus the Native Americans who occupied this land WAY BEFORE anyone who "legally" came in through Ellis Island (whatever). yeah, "legally." to who was it legal? to people who spoke the language you are accustomed to now? or to the Natives? I'm sure the original occupants of THIS LAND didn't think or believe that you came onto this continent "legally." you people are so full of sh*t. Why is it that issues like these are always one-sided? you NEVER look at the whole picuter. your only concern is the NOW, not the "what did the other side think?"

Morons

if your not Native American you are an immigrant - but I do get your point most of us came here legally thru Ellis Island, which is not the same argument. But I hate when whites think all Mexicans are illegal or think that Mexicans are the only illegals in the country. I think if you want to stay in the country you should join the armed services and after fighting for this country you can gain citizenship. But thats just my point of view.

People who ask retarded questions like the one asked, have no intelligence whatsoever. You ALL are immigrants. What did you learn in History class..nothing? North America was occupied by the Native Indians. Then came along white people and they tried to assimilate the Indians and took over and occupied their land. This was not your land in the first place. YOU are an immigrant, so were your parents and grandparents and ancestors. ACCEPT that!!!!

If your grandparents are the ones who first came in your family, then they were ILLEGAL. They all were, until 1924.

So what were YOUR grandparents' motivations for just crashing through at the ports and thinking they could just grab citizenship and jobs for nothing?

The point is, your thinking is ugly, and your mind isn't too sharp. We ARE all immigrants - and that's not an argument for or against illegal immigration. Further, you anti-immigrant polemicists have got to quit equating all immigration with illegal immigration.

No, the ancestors of our founding fathers were invaders plain and simple. Successful, prosperous invaders. They did not emigrate. When they got here they found (by their standards) no governments; only savages. Being the organizing types, they quickly took over the country and pushed the locals aside.

Doesn't sound nice, but that's life. So the decendents of the invaders say that anyone else wants to come in must follow their rules. That's life too. Unless you can come up with the force to invade and take over, you simply have to follow the rules WE made. That's life....deal with it.

Bro, that is not an argument, that is a fact, everybody decent from immigrants, wheather they are recent or old roots. and if the immigration laws that we got now we would have had them back in those days, all your great grandparents would had been considered illegals too

They're only moronic because you disagree with them. Using vulgar abuse merely reveals your shortcomings and is never an answer to an argument. It shows that you are incapable of dealing with the answer in a rational way so being abusive is diversionary but not satisfactory. You never convince anyone of your position by being rude. You polarize and antagonize but do not reconcile differing views.

The one that goes..."Illegal immigrants only do the work that Americans are too lazy to do" or "Illegals have the human right to a better life".....those are up there as well
