I had this abusive, racist, incompetent teacher when i was in secondary school. Most unfortunately, i was the one she choose to pick on all the time, but she also looks down on our entire class.
She's chinese, and she can't speak any chinese dialects, thus, she condems us who speak mandarin, says we should stop speaking chinese and stop reading chinese books, chinese educated students are not taught manners in school unlike her, an english educated student. She also expressed that chinese educated students are lausy and should be sent to an english school, lucky she did not send her childern to chinese school etc.
She is also constantly picking on me, checking me all the time, gossiping about me in the teachers' office until some teachers came and ask me what i did to anger her, shaming me in front the whole class. There are also plenty she's done to me but not mentioned here. She was so abusive that i didn't finnish my upper six and went to college instead.

All of her doings which were done publicly in front of my class i have jotted down including the date.
Although it has been 4 years or so but i can distinctively remember what she said and did, and is still wondering why she bullied the hell out of me. I want to stop this situation from happening to other innocent students, how can i get about it? Any advice please?

I was in the science stream, 98% were chinese educated students, being only 2 who were english educated.

To Zurioluchi,
I have always did and have been speaking english since i was born, duhhhh. I picked up mandarin and other language from my parents.
The dimwit taught me maths (she can't even do her own questions, a student taught her how to solve problems), not english.

I don't think there's anything you can do now. You could write her a letter now letting her know how you feel. Or, just chalk it up to the fact that some people just "shouldn't" be teachers and vow to yourself that if your child encounters such a teacher, you will report that teacher or remove your child from the class.
I am not sure if you were in school in China or America. If it was the U.S. (or western Europe), you and/or your parents could have approached the headmaster or principal with your grievances. Not sure what the options were in China.
BTW I was interested in this question b/c my husband grew up in China.

It is unfortunate that there are people like that in the world, especially the teachers and role models that kids look to for guidance. I agree that it is best to report or voice your concerns to those in charge, but it is probably too late to do that now, unless she is publicly being brought up on discrimination or abuse charges and authorities are looking for people that were affected by her actions.
Four years ago would have been the time to do it, so that something could have been done to help your situation and those after you. Many may question your motives if you do so now. Save your sanity and pick your battles. It is over and done, and now you may have a better idea of how you can handle this in the future.
Look ahead!

Yah, you really shouldn't forget about it, she's the kind of person thats apt to do it again.
Report her to the school you went to or maybe contact some other students she picked on four years ago, then go and protest to the school (not like a rally or something)
But tell them you all were students from a few years back, chances are some of the older teachers still remember you if you were good in their class, they'll stand up for you and the others.

Wow, if I'm reading this right the teacher accomplished her task. Your English composition is well composed and understandable. It appears she did a good work with you. Now one up her and continue to
develop and enhance your original language.
Now you have multiple languages and that is
to be commended, congratulations to you.
Wow, sounds like a lot of angst there.
Perhaps it is time for an adult heart to heart talk with the teacher, if that has not been done already. Mathematics and languages are a good combination you are most fortunate.
Have a pleasant day.

While you're teacher is picking on you for speaking and reading Chinese too much, my parents pick on me for NOT speaking and reading enough Chinese! She probably thinks that English is superior but honestly, it's so much better to be bilingual because you have so much more options and opportunities. She should not be picking on you though, you should report her to the principal and to the school board.

She might have sychological problems from her childhood and may be venting now. I say stay away forget all about it and don't let it affect you. If you feel you must do something about it for the sake of others, then complaint to the school Principal or Dean if they don't respond go to the school board. But don't take matters into your own hands.

in my opinion, moving on is not the answer,it only fuel's her to continue to treat her students inappropriately, you must stand up for yourself and for her future students, personality conflicts can't be an issue in this case she is a teacher and you were a student.her actions were and are vile,go forward and report her so this wont happen to anyone else, don't be afraid of her, there is nothing she can do to you, believe me she will be afraid of what lies ahead, good luck,be strong!

It will cause you a lot of trouble if you make an issue of it. Can you afford to waste the time? Get over it and move on. Don't be a victim.
