Why do people say this land was stold from Mexico? When in fact it was stold from the Native Americans Then America obtained it in the treaty of Guadalupe. This Land was origanilly Native American before it was any thing. If any one should be screaming theft it is THEM.

I agree general custer. I posted this question because I am tired of Mexicans using that as a defense when the land wasn't thiers to begin with. I love my race but the lack of knowledge they display when they do that is irratating.

Americans didn't steal it they piurchased it in a treaty you stupid Dumb arch Angel. What part of TREATY and PURCHASE do people not understand? It was the Spaniards who STOLD it from the Natives. But you don't see them on here crying every five minutes like you see the Mexicans with their fabricated stories. This land subject has nothing to do with illegal immigration I don't know why people are trying to use it as a a pawn.

The land in question is neither Mexican land nor Native American land......those who think so should be kicked out of the country or hung.....The land is part of the nation called the United States of America.... If any one would want too try and take the land back by all means they could try.....The Native Americans would suffer another defeat like Wounded Knee....and if the Mexicans tried too take it back....They would lose and intern we would just be obliged too take the whole of Mexico proper...
THERE SHOULD BE NO SEPARATE NATIONS WITH IN THE United States of America....Any that they say exist should be expunged!

All of America belonged to the Natives. They were massacred and put on little pieces of land that the government calls reservations and the people were forced to live on them or they were murdered. They should have all of their land back and reap the benefits that the average American gets from their lands. All of the oil and gold and every other natural big money resource was theirs. They should have a high percentage of the profits. The American People under the first George Bush fought Iraq because they were taking over Kuwait. It is sad to see such a big double standard. It was OK to murder all of the Native Americans and treat them worse than slaves. To imprison them and treat them like dogs. It was OK for the Americans to rape and kill and steal. But the Iraqi's were wrong for doing the exact same thing to the Kuwaiti's. When will the Natives be free? I went to a reservation and it made me sick to see that in the year 1999 they had no running water and that the government handed them little food packages and said hey that is all you get. The White House and every other house is on Native land, the American Government never bought it, they stole it. They should never impose on other countries that are doing the exact same thing that they did until they right the wrong that was created by them and compensate the native Americans not only for their financial loss but also for the loss of life and culture.

That is part of history, a part that we can never forget because it is happening all over again. But this time it is without the bloodshed or the annihilation of tribes.
