Sex is just the means for gratification. Making love on the other hand is quite different. Making love requires admiration, dedication, total passion for your partner. A union far beyond just lust of the flesh...........mind, body, and soul become part of the act. Sex is like a gas fire...........it ignites very quickly, is hot for a time, and then fizzles out. Making love is like a forest fire..............it smolders for a bit, then the fire burns incredibly hot, and takes a while to put out the fire. I know the difference and hope that you will too, some day.

Oh yes. U can have sex with anybody but when u make love it is special. U try to make it last forever. Love making will only happen between two people that truly care for each other. It is so sweet and mind blowing, u can literally float because u feel so good. Sex is just who was there at that horny moment and time.

Yes there is. Sex is driven from an urge or quick attraction, usually no true feelings for the other person. Making love is a different state of mind, giving pleasure and receiving it the same. Sex is awesome, making love, well there is nothing greater, especially with the one you love.

yes there is a huge difference, when your making love, there is a strong passionate connection between you and your lover. Where as if its just sex then the intamate feelings arent attached and if there were some type of feeling its only platonic youll know the difference when it happens

Oh yes, a very big difference. If you're just having sex with someone, you aren't in love with them, and it won't mean nearly as much. But if you're making love to someone, then you have truly found someone that you are madly in love with, and the act becomes so much more intense and satisfying. Good luck and God Bless.

very big difference.....I think that just because you are in a relationship doesn't mean you have to lose that wild, hot, extreme passion that you had before,...that is important.
making love comes from the heart.
Having sex without love is nothing more than a desire to feel and enjoy the sexual pleasure of anothers hot body.
Both can be very intense and passionate to say the least.........

I think making love is all about the romance side of things... slow, sensual. Whereas having sex is just getting naked and f%@#$%! each others brains out regardless of how long it takes.
