Not really , if you want to stop too. It just means you're able to offer them enough courage to stop , but you need a little more than that to stop yourself. It's hard sometimes to accomplish things entirely on your own . We all get by with a little help from our friends. Sounds like you've been one to them. Be one to yourself now and get some more support under you.

Cutting, you mean hurting yourself? Well it's good that you "help" your friends, by " " this I mean how can you help others and tell them that what they are doing is wrong and can't do it for yourself? Do you do it for attention, real depression, or because your friends are doing it? Come on, you can really hurt yourself or even kill yourself if somebody doesn't get to you on time. I think you should surround yourself with people that really care about your well being, your health physically, mentally, emotionally. Just think about your family, and think that problems come and go but its your maturity to take the challenge and over pass everything that can make you think life it's not worth it.

no. not exactly . I have in turn stopped many people from cutting themselves only to break down and do it myself. It is something that gets better with time it has been almost a year since the last time i cut or burned myself. But it helps to have a support system. As for depression that in itself I am still battling and all i can say about that is that it takes work for people like us to trudge on through life without people knowing the true way we feel ; )

Its easier to say things than do, especially when it happens unto you.
Afterall, we're only human.
Society does alot of hypocritic things, but always find some ways to justify it.
There's seldom right and wrong. Mostly, only the necessary dictates our decisions.
You shouldn't worry too much about it. Just don't hurt yourself.

Depression is best handled not by yourself but with help and imput from others. You've been able to get people back on ntheir feet by helping them, so surround yourself with helpful people who will encourage you to do the same you did to them.
You should feel better in no time

No, it is good that you help others from cutting. You care. You may not be strong enough to quit on your own. You may need someone to help you, just like you helped others. If you don't want help, then you may be a little bit of a hypocrite, but if you want help and believe in it like you helped them, then no. You are just weak and need help from someone...seek help, k?
